  6. hi guys few parts from recent upgrade. stock r32 gtr turbo's, were running fine when taken off the car each has slight play $200 stock r32 gtr afms, working perfect when come off the car - $80 gtr afms with apexi filters, mesh missing on the backs hks rubber joins - $120 hotside piping twin turbo pipe stock intake pipe etc whats in the picture there together - $60 mines m's k&n intake kit $200 firm. pick up only, msg me here im in syd. Thanks guys.

White 1996 180sx type X this is a really mint type x you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition anymore. car has 86,000kms on it and it shows inside and out. since ive had the car ive done 6,000kms on it in about a year, it spends most of its life in underground parking. front mount pedders coilovers Apexi EL boost gauge 17inch rota's +12 all round, car is stanced really nice. (wheels+Tyres 4 months old) front/rear whiteline swaybars full 3 inch turbo back exchaust. 2 way cusco diff eboost boost controller short shift kit walbro fuel pump - known issues with the car 1. the short shift kit rattles a bit in higher revs, 4500+ it doesnt really effect anything it can just be annoying, i didnt really drive the car often enough to get irritated enough to sort it out. however i have the original shifter and everything that came with it if you want to put it back to stock, the short shift does feel great however. 2. the 2 way diff is pretty clunky, i am told its perfectly normal to be like that for what it is its just the previous owner put a really serious diff in there, i personally quite like it as makes the rear end really predictable but definately clunks around a fair bit when you are going slow. im sure plenty of drifters would be happy to swap for a 1.5way if u really dont like it. -please note the bride seat in pics is not included, will have the original type x seat which is in fantastic condition. 13,500 firm current plates dont come with the car dont want someone driving around in my old car with my name on the number plate please msg me here if you are interested. feel free to ask questions!!

  14. as the title says gentlemen. Rears = 17 x 9J +35 Fronts = 17 x 8J +35 Tyres Rear = 255/40 Tyres Front = 235/45 advan neova ad07 on 3 and ad08 on one 2k firm. 0450476487 sms only please.
  15. i dont see how boost could go up 0.8 bar just cause of a rich tune, especially when its holding boost till almost 6k i havent had time to touch the car during the week, i will get stuck into it on the weekend prolly replace the actuator and dump as i had planned on doing that anyway and let you guys know my findings. i really appreciate everyones help here though thank you!!
  16. follow your airfilter back to the turbo, take that hose off the turbo, use ur hand and see if the compressor wheel has any shaft play
  17. this turbo and ecu comes as a kit from blitz for a starlet, its tuned for it, and while japanese fuel is better than here, i dont see it causing this, i can put the stock one in to test. this turbo isnt a whole lot bigger than stock, ive seen people run them on a stock ecu fine before, its only good for a little over 200hp, but thats plenty cause starlet weighs nothing
  18. i did take the arm off, it seems to move perfectly freely and goes atleast 180deg
  19. ok guys some progress has been made but im not out of the woods yet. if you look at the picture below it appears the gasket between turbo and dump was fowling up the wastegate opening, note that the actuator arm seems to be bent towards it a bit which would not have helped. now after this photo i have resolved this problem and as far as i can tell it definately clears it now and can open the whole way, but still i am having the same problem so now i guess the question is, has this been fouled with all that boost on it effected the integrity of the actuator ? i dont have a pump to test it, and using my hand to move the actuator is very difficult in the position its in and i dont think its good for it anyway. i have another stock actuator to replace this one, but would you believe the one on the stock turbo is a little bit different as the bottom of the actuator arm is just a hole, on this turbo the wastegate arm has the hole..
