  1. i know a few people who have been threw more then 1 or 2 N1 oil pumps B4 going tomei oil pump these are street cars that dont see over 8000rpm
  2. i personally would pick a tomei or JUN oil pump over a N1 oil pump ur rebuilding the engine so u may as well spend abit more and get some thing stronger

  4. the oil pump didnt fail the mechanic over in japan who put the engine together was the one who failed after we pulled the engine out to repair the problem we noticed the oil pump was already upgrade with a CNC machined billet item the backing plate which bolts onto the oil pump was lose, the bolts were all lose so this was the cause of the drop in oil pressure we then pulled of the sump to inspect the bottom end bearings and noticed all the bottom end bearings were brand new and in perfect condition we also noticed the crank was replaced with a R33 crank shaft as well
  5. i love my offset's they dont stick out to much but just enuff 18 X 9.5 +12 all i need to do is fit my nismo side skirts and rear pods engine will be getting fitted back into the car some time this week

  8. im running a GT3582 as well and my compressor housing is the same <---- note: anti surge compressor slot machined into housing ive noticed garrett have 2 different types of A/R70 compressor housings
  9. going to paint the coil pack cover red to match the rest of the covers B4 bolting the engine back in
  10. u cant tell much by looking at the compressor housing alot of turbo's use that same exact same compressor housing
  11. im using a Gt35R on my GTR engine but ive done with a very small exhaust housing its a ATP in house machined garrett exhaust housing its basically a .78 divided exhaust housing taken from some other turbo machined to suit the GT35r core im also using a custom twin scroll aka split pulse manifold to suit the exhaust housing it also has a ATP anti surge compressor housing as well engine is just waiting to be bolted back into the car B4 its tuned ill post up the results once its finished dump pipe is a 3inch didnt want to go to big because its my daily
  12. the neo RB25 cylinder head isnt no where near as good as the neo VVL cylinder head in the SR20VE so dont get it miss taken some people think they are both the same but they arnt the neo VVL cylinder head found in the SR20VE's run a very similar system to the honda vtec the cam shaft has a extra set of lobes which it switchs over to at a set RPM the RB25 neo cylinder head does not do this
  13. oh yeah good point........ keep forgetting about the triple plate clutch well after doing some searching it looks like im going to have to buy a tow bar and modify it to fit yeah i tried searching and this is the only thread i could find R32 Gtr Tow Bar Wanted, or info on where 2 get
  14. has any one ever fitted a tow bar onto a R32 GTR??? i know some of u may give me shit about wanting to fit a tow bar onto my GTR but look i realli dont give a shit i dont intend on keeping it there... i just wanna bolt it on to tow my 180 then once im done ill unbolt the tow bar and put it away untill i need to tow my 180 again does nissan make a tow bar for a R32 GTR or will i have to buy one and modify it to fit?
  15. wtf? how can u recommend a HKS GT3037 and then go and recommend a t04z both turbos are no where near each other so how can u recommend one and then the other?? like if u said GT35R and t04z its abit more understandable IMO for a Rb30 / 25 setup and aiming for 300rwkw i would recommend the GT35 with .82 exhaust housing this would be a very responsive setup DO NOT go any smaller then a .82 exhaust housing on a 3L engine!
  16. i was to lazy to go threw all that crap this is how i got my map sensors hooked up engine runs and idles fine (well it did untill i blew the oil pump)
  17. the OS giken RB30 stroke kit is alot less f**king around compared to using a RB30 block my is under going a RB30 + RB26 cylinder head in his R32 GTR and nothing fits he regrets not going with the OS giken 3L stroker kit now
  18. adapter plates is the best way around it i wouldnt recommend cutting and welding cast iron sure it can be done but its not going to be very strong

  21. nah i cant... for me to swap over to a T04 flange i would have to hack up the collector which is alot of work, it would be alot more eazy starting over again

  23. the packet is a sealed bag once i open it i wont be able to seal the bag again i bought the throttle body from GKtech
