@DuncanI think so too...but dont why suddenly i start to loose coolant...but i guess that it is how things go bad. The smoke was only from the engine...no smoke from exhaust. And when i checked the oil it was fine(no milky just regular colored oil) Yeah i will see this week what went wrong. @GTSBoyYou think it could like "self destroy" after a year? The gasket was done like year ago and i drove the car couple of k km. But i dont know how these things "work" and if it can go bad like right away or just like this... @joshuaho96I know but do not have a choice. Not many people here gonna work on that car/engine (as far as i know i am the only with this type of engine). Most of them(even that still no many) have GTT and have no time or they want like fortune just for a small things. Yeah i start to think so too...i know i touch the radiator many times before to check and it was HOT to touch..no it was only little warm on left and in the middle where the cap is...completely cold. The "block" thing should have been the problem..or the pump but it is/was new...done with the belts and everything around last year. I will let you know but i think too that something happened with cooling system. But thanks for the tips guys ๐

@GTSBoy I "IF"...why? The gasket was brand new. Any reason for that? I do not race the car or otherwise abuse it. The whole "trip" the car has seen red(7k rpm) like 10 times max. I know that temperature gauge is not 100% accurate but it was at the center whole time(it should work...it goes down when the car is cold) so idk ๐ @Duncanidk i do not check at the time(my mechanic will) but i kinda dont think so...or at least not "much" cuz when the car stall on itsefl and i manage to open the hood the radiator was cold as no "hot" water was even there ๐ after like 10-15 min the radiator was starting to get warm/hot. I have done brake swap from GTT so i checked everytime i ride for spillage underneath the car...and no drop. Even my mechanic looked last time(like 14 day ago) and car was bone dry ...no leakage or anything... So i think something goes horrible wrong...again ๐ I know it is old car and things can go bad but i really dont know why this was happened.

Hi. As of now i dont what happened(update comming soon)...but i just dont WTF was happened. Head and top of the engine was rebuild last year...it ran great. I ran like 5k with no problems and car ran good when you take to consideration that is kinda slow have 216k km and is old. But it ran. Yesterday i took it to a trip and when i was near home i started to smell like burned plastic...i thought it is from outside. But when i stopped at the lights the smoke starts pour from under the car(engine) So i stopped the car and take a look. My hood do not want to open so i try to look everywhere i could. I stall the engine and after like 10-15 min smoke was gone. I saw nothing burned nothing smell ...nothing. So maybe some plastic melt or something "plasticy" drop on exhaust. I started up the car and it went good...nothing. No smoke no smell and car ran great. I was like 20 min from home so i ride. But after like 10 min i started to smell the plastic again...and of course on the lights there was the smoke again. Iam not going to push it but i need to stop elsewhere and. Car still runs normally so i ride like 2-3 min to park the car and call the "angels". BUT then suddenly car make some wierd noise(i was low on gear and it sounded like the car was not happy on low gear and low rpm)...but then again the same noise and car just stalled. I drifted to side of the road. Car (engine) was smoking. I manage to finally open the hood. Now what i found. There was nothing burned. Smoke came 100% from the engine. Car did not wanted to start (cranked 1 times...sounds bad) so i leave it. The radiator was cold...(like how?) there was no leakage as far i could se. Oil was at the top and do not look bad(was changes like 800km ago). The back of the car(more near the exhaust side) was covered with oil/fuel? Something oily. But smoke or any type of smoke was really came out of the engine only...no smoke from exhaust(i looked at mirror constatly) I know "magic ball" but WTF should have happened? Car was at the mechanics like month ago and he checked all fluids and any "service" things and all was good...and car was good runned normally until this happened.

Hi. I know you can get rear spats for GT-R/look a like bumper. But i found this video with these spats.(pic below) What do you think they are? Are they some custom made ones for GT/T bumber or is it some type of brand? I tried to look but i found only for GT-R bumpers. Novรฝ rastrovรฝ obrรกzek.bmp

So i dont think they would be willing/able to sell to private person let alone send it to Europe ๐ Sadly literally no one has it and that one company do not replyed ๐ EDIT: yeah no international or private sell...

Ok thanks. As i said above the car was from Japan and at the state it arrived it was obvious that the maintenance was quite bad. Iam not joking if i say that car HAD factory air filter... Other than that car feels ok and when i drive it little bit harder no problem at all...no "lag/stutter" or hesitation of gas or anything like that...only when cruising and trying to keep same speed. I will try check those things. -

AFM should be clean...but we will check again. CAS dont know 100% but we will check too. Fuel we check for sure...as i said it gives bad reading so maybe the "whole" pump is bad. Yeah O2 sensor my mechanic said it should not cause this...but we can check too. What about those injectors? Should they be the problem? I think they are "stock" from the factory and when i bought the car it was obvious there was not enough maintenance. -

DK...is there any "great" way to know for sure? Engine was partly rebuild like last year(one valve was bad and car ran on 5 cyl) back then we have a little bit of leak around intake manifold but new gasket take care of that. Now it do not seem any air is leaking but we will check again. I drove the car today and no lag/stutter... it is very random so it is very hard to repeat. -

HI. I try to find something about this but nothing came on...only about other things. So. Sometimes when iam cruising and trying to maintain the speed the vehicle...i dont know like "cut" the power and lags. But only for a split second. Do not know if it is related but often when iam cruising and try to put a little more gas nothing happens...only after a while(1-3 secs) or when i step on the on gas little more. It happens only when cruising and trying to maintain the speed...when i driving it "harder" all is normal and no problem occurs. What should i look for? Coil packs are good(splitfire) and spark plugs are new. Maybe injectors? Dont know how "good" they are or fuel pump(i know i have bad "read meter") cuz my fuel gauge works but show way less fuel (like the car had only 30-40 liter tank) Car starts perfectly...no smoke no nothing..idle is good(around 750-800rpm)..when it drives other than that above it drives great. Or i can do this ...i think maybe this would be the best option for the sound and to ensure that exhaust will fit That Kakimoto is quite large 80-90mm ... (sry cant edit anymore)

HI guys...a little update. I came to this exhaust https://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/products/detail_product.cgi?rid=191 Problem is that it is for RB25DE NEO(i have RB20DE NEO). I tried to ask like 3 shops...but they just...yeah man it is for RB25 we dont know if... But is the exhaust on RB25 really that different? I try to find any information but no info about stock exhausts on these engines. Other thing is sound/drone. I know that these N/A RB can drone if you put large exhaust and cannon ball rear muffler. This exhaust has cannon bal but it has oval resonator too. I manage to find one video. He says that cat is broken so a little rasp can be heard. I know it is video/quality etc but imho it sound way better than those 3 inch sreamers. So does anyone know if i can fit this exhaust on RB20DE NEO...imo i dont know why the RB25DE NEO exhaust should be any different...but i dont really know ๐

So in recap if i buy that GTS-T engine(S2) with ECU and wire harness(guy says it is complete engine) Intercooler too. I can swap that with "no" problems? I know...new clutch and pump. Sry i know i maybe asking like a dumb person but iam trying to gather as much and clear information cuz i dont think anybody knows about this to much in here. And i dont want to end with engine swap half way...so iam trying to eliminate all the "problems" before ๐ But many thanks for all the info! -

Ok so that is that on the R33 engine. The guy says he has ECU and everything...it is cheaper and should be ok engine. One thing i read(i think) that clutch is different on R33? I know i will need a new one anyway. Fuel pump is ok my needs to go out anyway. Of course i would get an aftermarket ECU for tunning. And maybe the worst part...need to ask either my mechanic or someone here if he can do this and mainly do this legally. More power and anything is cool but no way iam gonna be driving without all ok on legall side. I have the RB20DE NEO...not the 25 :-) But if iam gonna swap engine anyway and if i have the money...it is kinda nonsense to buy NA to replace NA. EDIT: seems i miss the Stagea part. Yeah the other guy who is selling the RB25DET NEO is indeed selling Stagea engines. -

EDIT(cant edit the previous post). And something little bit different. What about RB25DE NEO(non Turbo)? In case my engine will "blow" or something happens where it will not reasonable to repair? This engine should be ok to fit? I think it has the same trans. From your information and everything a read so far about Turbo/Swap...it is/will be waste of money. -

So for the RB25DET from R33 i do not need Nistune the ECU but for the NEO i do? The guy who sells the NEO engine says he is doing Nistune too so it will be easier...but of course much more expensive. I just looking for options and what i can/cant do in here. So thank you for all the info ๐ -

Thanks for the answer. I was looking for question but found only swap to RB25DET NEO. The guy selling says it has everything. Wiring and ECU and i already have breakes from R34 GTT. Stronger clutch should be "easy" to find/buy...fuel pump too and intercooler-plumbing is already on the engine.(plumbing would be new and designed to fit) Is there anything else i would need or to look for? I presume that if i find the NEO engine things will be the same for the swap? -
Hi guys...quick question. Can i fit the RB25DET S2 from R33 GTS-T to my R34 GT? it is completely stock. I know trans is weak but it should at least mate or? And what about everything else? I just asking cuz someone selling their S2 engine for 4500k AUD which is great price considering it is in my country and i dont need to pay extremely high postage.

I dont know that...iam not rushing just dont know if i get any response. He/his company was the first i wrote cuz i read that it is good quality product and it fits the GT/GTT bumper perfectly. And his company is after like X hours of searching only one who show up with exactly what i have searched for. It is kinda hard to find one cuz East Bear is long gone and other company(Viva or something) which has done "copies" of this lip is gone too... But thanks for the answer...i will wait and if he do not reply i will try again :-) I looked at jsai but they do only "one" lip (i can get the same here) and the "GTR" lip is only with the bumper and Z-Tune kit. I have poor RB20DE NEO so i do not want to be extremely lame with whole Z-Tune kit ๐

Hi, Iam looking for this lip. As far as i know it is/was a East Bear lip for GT/GTT series 1 bumper. Iam from EU so a lot of shops from AU or anywhere near dont even show on my browser.(Iam using VPN for Yahoo auction but nothing) I find one :https://www.kmakaero.com.au/nissan-r34-skyline-east-bear-style-front-lip~1234 They doing the exactly this but from which i have read they do not communicate well (i wrote them couple of days ago and still nothing) Do you guys know any other shops/places where can i try get this? Thank you for the info guys :-) @GTSBoy: Yeah i know i need something smaller and with resonater and bigger muffler. "Funny" thing is that i like the "stock" sound...when the car is on idle and i stand at the back of the car the sound is "deep" and nice but it is too quite and inside you cant hear it at all let alone when you drive. I will ask the guy at exhaust shop. He has done many exhaust but not on my car/this engine so no exp. there ๐ EDIT: I have this HKS Hi Power muffler(34002-AK007) got it as a gift(it is not on the car)...in my case that is not gonna be good yeah? @Murray_Calavera: i know but in this purpose i just like the sound "from" the video. Maybe in real life i would not like it...but in my case i like "that" sound...something deep and quiet :-) Sadly the second part is not an option in here. In my country they are very few Skyline and like 99% are GT-Ts. As far as i know iam the only one in the country who has this car with this engine(no wonder...who wants a Skyline from "2F2F" with 155Hp LOL) I know i cant get that "same" sound...just want something deeper and quiet :-) I found one video on YT with the same engine and custom exhaust and it sounded nice...but sadly the video was deleted ๐

Hi, Finally i have the car running good with no problems(not counting bodywork) and i have the question about custom exhaust. I rly like this sound: I know i know it is a GT-R and i have very poor RB20DE NEO with stock exhaust. I know i cant get 100% same sound other than i buy "his" car or build the same exhaust. He has some midori/mines titanium downpipe...sard cat. and that midori hi power silent exhaust(titanium)..that is just for the info. What i "want" is the similiar deep "silent" tone. I do not want those "3 inch" screamers which i can find all on YT. So my Q. What type of custom exhaust should i go to have something similiar? Deep but nice and quiet sound? Is it even possible on N/A engine?

Hi sry to bring up this ancient question. How is it then? I have R34 GT(no X or V) just regular GT with RB20DE NEO. Can i fit this brake kit from GT-T to my GT or do i need to do anything to it to fit? Thank you very much!
