  1. Sorry for later reply. Yeah i ordered many things from Japan(JP Parts) and some from Dubai and everything was ok... JP Parts are EXTREMELY quick...like 4 days from payment i got my stuff...yeah they are little bit expensive but i dont mind...iam happy that they have the parts 🙂 But yeah iam using DHL...our local post office sucks hard 😄
  2. @Hendry: i hope we can too but on RB25DE/T this part is different ...in RB20DE NEO it "splits" into two parts...on others the manifold is one part...and that "corroed" part looks different too. But i saw some pictures of it and it looks like there was some metal pipe too... This picture is from RB25DET NEO and looks little bit different but yeah...100% metal pipe...mine is/was the same it should be easy to repair 🙂 And this is part from RB20DE NEO...metal pipe too 🙂 On the other hand my mechanic discovers that on 99,9% problem is exhaust valve on cyl 5. (both of them) They leaking fluid...but the head is OK so tomorrow we send it to a machine shop to check if the valves could be machined or if we need to order some new ones. But so far it is looking "good" 🙂
  3. Little bit late "2days" but i saw the engine. Mechanic will send the head to "machine" shop for testing but after a long inspection himself he do not see any damage on head/valves or whole cylinder head(no cracks or anything like that)...even head gasket is ok. Block and piston(s) are in great condition and he was very suprised how the engine looked(very clean/undamaged) (engine has 210k Km) So after my Q WTF is wrong then...he thinks one of the valves do not close properly...He still need to look at the camshafts and everything "above" but it seem this "could" be something minor... On the other hand...one part gone wrong kinda bad 😄 https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=81&fig=140A&part=14510AA000&page=2 This part(as seen on photos) gone bad....the whole section where water comes in is destroyed..."corroded" away... So here is the question on that part...it seems that from factory there was "metal" pipe stuck into the housing and THAT "melt" away? Or does anyone know if it is how we think it is? Cuz everything around is ok...only that "something" corroded away completely. We will try to weld some pipe if we can...cuz this part alone costs around 1200 USD and that is before taxes/shipping...and god know if they even had this in stock and in the reasonable time.
  4. Problems is...they are not any 😄 I live in EU(Czech Rep.) and no one has those...so i need to look "worldwide" But i still dont know what the damage is so trying to keep positive...:-) I will let you know what the problem is soon as i know.
  5. @BKThank you...already looking at it... And do you know where to look for "used" head or even an engine? All i can see are RB25DET NEO...
  6. @BK: Yeah...the head/engine will be the worst outcome...any sites where should i look for those?(head or even an engine?) I noticed that amayama is kinda slow...i order couple of cabin filters which they should have around 6-10 day...it is now a month and still nothing. So any "sites" where can i get genuine parts other then the amayama? Or do you meant JP-carparts web? I know that site...i try to look there.
  7. Yeah iam hopping for valve/piston and that head/block would be fine. I found some parts on amayama ...even the head but it costs around 1700 USD and that is without taxes... Used head for RB20DE NEO is kinda impossible to get here(Europe) And "funny" enough any "used" head is from Russia and that is big NO NO(and Russian are kinda scammers anyway) So hopping it is nothing major...pistons/valves/ring lands are available on amayama.
  8. News update(SAD) My mechanic finds out problem is that 5th cylinder has a very very low compression...like "non" existing. Others have like 9 on 1-10 scale....5th has like 1... So he need to take out the head and see the "damage"... Anyone with that kinda experience? What can i expect? Should this still be something "small" or is it very likey that i will need a new cylinder head?

Ok sorry my english is not so good so i may typed it wrong but dont worry i dont buy the Subaru one :-) i found that like right away cuz when i put that s.n. on google...only the subaru one came out 😄 I know i need that 14035P...but i hope that this one gasket would be ok...otherwise more waiting time... This part 140355L300 is in that kit too and for far as i checked it should be the same on RB25 and 20 https://nissan.epc-data.com/skyline/hr34/3948-rb20de/engine/102/ here is RB20 https://nissan.epc-data.com/skyline/er34/3950-rb25de/engine/102/ here is RB25 And only thing different is the one missing 14035P gasket I even checked picture from the shop i buy that RB25 kit and apart from that one missing it has everything.   10. Ok i cant edit anymore(sorry for spam) but i think i figure it out like on 99,9% Sooo. I bought the 101015L725...it is the gasket kit for RB25DE NEO and for far as i checked(i checked like 100x on different sites and Nissan parts numbers) this kit is litteraly the same as 10101AA025 and only missing one gasket( 14038AA000 ) So iam gonna pray hard that this one gasket is gonna be fine on my car...cuz buying this one is pain... This number is exactly the same as Subaru exhaust gasket and you may guess who is "winning" on being in stock... On amayama is available but for like 3-4 months... So try to change all the gasket except that one and hope 🙂 Iam glad i figure it out with some help so thank you again 🙂

You can get easily RB25DET NEO kit and that is also my Q: https://www.amayama.com/en/part/nissan/10101aa025 This gasket is for RB20DE NEO...sadly they do not have it...BUT https://www.amayama.com/en/part/nissan/10101aa525 This is for the RB25DET NEO When you compare those two pictures...they have exactly the same gasket parts...apart that one (14035P) is missing... But wierd thing...why does the RB25DET NEO have this (14010A) part as well ...yet this engine has only "one" intake pipe and no Y shape like NA engine...can it be that they include it just "for sure"? One thing they have is this : https://www.amayama.com/en/part/nissan/11042aa025 But what is valve regrind? I can see that that kit has a "few" parts... BTW thank you again for the reply 🙂 EDIT: so after ton of reading and comparing i find this. That valve regrind kit should have 4 of those 5 gasket inside...so i need that and only part 1 from your picture i need to buy separately. And i also need rocker cover gasket...where can i find those?   12. New info: Today i was at the mechanic and sadly engine is rly running on 5 cyl...hence the "wierd" sound... We cant say for sure what is causing that... Car is definetely getting little bit of air around intake manifold(gasket is not sealing well 100%) I already have a timing kit for the car and fuel filter but now iam trying to fing gasket set/kit... Can you help me find one? I found couple of on the RB20/25DE(T) but no for the RB20DE NEO... I think that major of the gaskets(95%) should be the same...but NA engine has those "Y" pipe on the intake and that would have a different gasket 😕
  13. Yeah...that higher idle is probably something to do with "air" and it is the first thing he is gonna look at 🙂 I saw/read many topics on that. Hope that it is not something major cuz getting parts here is kinda hard...
  14. Hi i have question. For comparison this is how it should sound? i think yes....(rev up starts around 1:45) And my sound is down below. Iam not a mechanic or anything like that but why is my sound different? It is sounding like it is running on 5 Cylinders? It is that HR HR sound...kinda rough... Spark plugs and ignition coils are new and they work fine. Another "problem" is that car idles at 1100+ RPM...when i hit gas car responds normally but after that RMP goes for like a second below 800 and whole car shake a little bit(i was told that engine/trans mount can be bad) after that right on to 1100+ and engine stays there the whole time(warm) I know you guys do not have "magic" ball but all the sugestions what it should be or what my mechanic should look for will be very much appreciated. 20220219_114617.mp4
  15. That is why iam asking...i dont know and i email couple of shops who have/had this exhaust and they do not know either... It is kinda hard to find much info about RB20DE NEO in R34 cuz not many people had them :-)
  16. Hi...dont want to start a new topic so i ask "again". Is anyone know if 25GT(RB25DE NEO) has same exhaust as GT(RB20DE NEO)? I saw that i can get Kakimoto Hyper Full Mega N1 exhaust but it is only for 25GT. Model number is N31354. Thanks for the info 🙂
  17. @Kinkstaah I know about the different sounds and quality but this is the only "good" one with same engine as mine. I do not know what he has in that car but from many videos i saw it should only be the exhaust. I have the "boring" twin stock and that not sound like that. Sadly i cant just try different cuz as you know...GTT let alone GTR have different type and far as i know iam the only one in the country with this type of a car(R34 with RB20DE NEO). Best i can do is to buy HKS but only the rear muffler (for the looks) and rest will be custom made.
  18. @GoHashiriyathank you i will check them out 🙂 @GTSBoy yeah i know but with custom exhaust...the stock NA RB(with stock exhaust) do not sound like that 😕 I know just from the sound only...but i was curious if any would guess what type of exhaust it is(muffler delete or straight pipe etc) IMHO it sounds like Silent type 🙂
  19. Hi, Thank you for the answers :-) I send message to nengun about that exhaust and sadly it wont fit(plug an play). But i can buy the end of the HKS muffler and rest of it i can do with custom :-) I know it is a long shot but this sound is nice. Anyone try to guess what this should be? Sounds exactly how i want it. I try to message the guy but he do not reply :-/
  20. Hi. I know i can get a custum one but i can get very cheap some HKS ones...problem is? Has RB20DE NEO same exhaust like RB25DET NEO? I mean from cat to the end.   21. Thank you for the ansewrs. I do not know much about exhaust so i rather ask 🙂 We do not have many Skylines here. And if...it is RB25. I just like the sound from the video...and price is not bad. I know that is gonna be different without turbo but many say that N/A car sounds better. Is it the a case with exhausts?
  22. I like the sound of the exhaust 🙂 But dont know how it is gonna sound on N/A 2.0 cuz every video i found was with RB25/26 with turbo. I do not want to be a "loud" one. And yes custom one is an option but i want to just know the opinions on this one 🙂
  23. Hi. Is it possible to be done? Or you "need" turbo to fit this exhaust? Maybe "left" first part from exhaust and then continue with HKS? Thank you for the info.
  24. Thanks. Anyone know anything about this engine? What about coilpacks and sparkplugs? What choice do i have here? Can i use one from DET model? Everywhere i looked only info i can find is about DET not much about DE NEO...:-/
  25. Thank you for all yours answers :-) Ok so with RB25DE(T)...new gearbox(or just complete engine with gearbox already on it). For the other engines i dont know...in our country people drives 2.0TDI (diesel turbo) :-D I want to stick with RB family and i looked at my option and best bet is RB25DET (non NEO) from R33 GTS-T
