my exhaust manifold studs snapped and the first signs was just after the turbo came on boost you could hear a faint whine. cost me 800 bucks to get it fixed and they put copper nuts on?? to stop it from happening in the near future or sumthin. i wouldve had a go myself but not keen on drilling into the block for some strange reason lol

that thing that sits in the dash is the evaporator i believe

i recently had my xhaust studs changed cost me 800 bucks but some were snapped in the block thats y i didnt attempt it myself. i got told to change to copper washer and nuts?? not sure if this is right but thats wat they did. i went to repco wen i was gonna do it they were absolutely useless spent half an hour in there they couldnt even find em for a rb30

i have a momo wheel on my 32(was on it wen i bought it) the boss kit was compatible but i needed to add some screws. i imagine the hicas compatible ones all come with a backing plate that is supposed to screw on to the boss. the backing plate has 4 square holes in it which sit over the hicas locators and there are two screw holes in the back of the boss that the plate screws on to. ill hava a look if there is a part number on it this weekend if no one has replied.
