well these subs also came in a custom box made by kicker and they sounded awesome but unfortunetly the box wouldnt fit in the boot, the depth is nowhere near wat they sounded like in the custom box but that is to be expected. The boot lid does vibrate but u cant hear it inside the car :-) Still even with loss of bass, the fact that i still hav boot space and can pretty easily get to the spare makes up for it.

AFM is fine. and so are the vacuum lines had a look today.

havent had the car on a dyno trying to fault find it. it doesnt happen all the time but ill check the earths on the coilpacks tomorrow. als o was watching the boost guage tonite and it was happing right as the turbo started forcing air in, ie as soon as the guage hit '0' bar. ill go through it on the weekend and replace all the vacuum lines incase its something like that. thanks again

hey guys, have this problem with my r32 gtst, ill be driving along and change gear, then when i go to accelerate again the engine gets to about 2500rpm and then dies back down to about 1000rpm before kicking in again. it doesnt happen all the time only every now and again, doesnt matter how much fuel is in the tank or what temp the engine is. also if this happens and i come to a stop the car is idling at around 2000rpm, and if i turn the car off then back on again it seems to go away most of the time. ive talked to a mechanic and he said its probly the computer but then i talked to another mechanic and he said i may have to put the fuel pump (bosch 040) on a seperate relay circuit as there may be too much current running through the computer and it cuts out. would li8ke to get it fixed asap as i dont know if its doing any damage to things. mods on the car are splitfire coilpacks about 8 months old, front mount from a supra about 18 months old and the fuel pump about 6 months old. any info would be great thanks Dale

Thanks guys.....Nah sorry im on the gold coast. The subs, amp and cable came to arround $1400, I did all the electrical work myself which made things cheaper. The boot install part of it was done by Car Tunes for about $500 and that included the parcel tray too.

Never posted pics so i hope this works.... the whole install lifts out in peices, easily able to get to the spare. The box is a little small for the two 12's but it still sounds pretty good :-)

if this is still for sale in a few weeks i may be interested. can you give me some more details about the engine? like how long you have had it and what you have replaced/fixed on the engine. thanks

hey mate i had Dave over at beaconsfield auto electrics fit an imobiliser to my last car never had any troubles with it. also my dad had the same one (mongoose) installed on his turbo hilux and he wired it around the TT no probs mate. good prices too and after sales service.

hi all, just looking for EOI for these parts at the moment as im getting wider front guards and a new bonnet this weekend. so parts are still on the car. guards are white over bronze s13 guards straight as. bonnet is black and straight but has lots of little scratches on it from cats. looking for 100 for both guards or 60 each and 200 for the bonnet. pick up only as i have no way of delivering the bonnet. located in labrador on the goldcoast. Cheers Dale. also have 4 14x6 wheels. suit 4stud 114.3 pcd. ones a bit bashed up. two have rally tyres on. and the other two have road tyres on em which are mismatched and one of em is buggered. can send pics of the wheels if anyones interested. 100 bucks or best offer for these. will separate the rally tyres from the wheels at buyers expense.
