  1. Car I'm looking at is running a blown turbo from a VL motor. Whats going to fit straight in there with no mods to oil lines etc??

  5. Latest on this is we are waiting to hear back from the customs agent that cleared the car. They should have record of the import approval number which I can then take to DOTARS and hopefully have this cleared up. Thanks Craig and J-spec for their help so far.

  7. Pretty sure its r32... and yes they do look extremely tough. Add some copy inspection skirts and rear bar from adrenalin auto styling with some decent offset and good ride height and have one of the angriest Laurels in aus

  11. Sorry I need a direct contact number for Craig or Ben. I have exhausted all other avenues at this stage. This is starting to get serious. Both DOTARS and QLD transport have mentioned the probability that the car was imported illegally.
  12. Early model DR30 sedan. Body is pretty much gone as the windscreen was removed to fix rust which never happened and now the floor of the car resembles a swimming pool. Diff removed. Engine has a whine. Suspect tensioner. Stopped firing for unkown reason after was left for a few months, maybe fuel pump or ignition.   15. The pistons have UNISA stamped on the so I think that rules out 4AGZE?? It was running an East Bear 1.8mm HG so is it possible that pistons have a high gudgeon pin height? I didn't actually measure the stroke myself but the guy who did has built Ferrari engines so I think he got it right.. The crank is still installed btw Sydneykid whats next??   19. 66mm What does that make it like an RB22?? I thought GTR rods could only be used with GTR cranks?
  20. *Sale on hold until I know exactly what I'm selling lol I have up for grabs an RB24 bottom end with the crank still installed and the rest in pieces. The setup consists of RB26 crank, RB26 rods and some form of cast stock Nissan pistons which have yet to be identified. Also included is a re-usable East Bear 1.8mm metal head gasket to suit. There is some wear on the pistons, but in theory it could be rebuilt with just new bearings and rings. I had planned getting it sleeved with 4agze pistons($80 each from toyota) as the bores are 83mm which is pushing it with wall thickness on a stock RB20 block. $1600 0415291321 Sunshine Coast Qld. Will freight at buyers expense.
  21. Okay the auction sheet for my Cefiro stated it had a 2.5L. When it arrived it was found to have an RB20 head. We've since pulled this engine down and discovered 83mm bores. Stock cast pistons of some form and what I'm pretty sure are RB26 rods. Can someone confirm these please. Also is there an easy way of identifying a GTR crank?
  22. New owner is a top kid.. Will be daily driven and rest assured will see it's fair share of sideways action. Going to miss her New machine should fill the void nicely though
