4AG's are DOHC And I doubt ANYONE is running 11's with a 4AC which is the single cam 1.6L that came in Aus spec sprinters

VQ-VS stato Any old V8 ute 85' onwards Patrols and Landcruisers Basically more torque the better... Large capacity is what you want. Turbo diesels are good... If you are on a tight budget there are people using VN-VP commodores without too much hassle. Trailer design plays a big part as there can be 100's of kg's weight difference between 2 trailers that do the same job. Also it is ideal to have 80kg of downward pressure on the tow ball when the trailer is fully laiden. tranny cooler could be done cheap as with some ingenuity..

Some small slip on spacers will help over come any issues with brake clearance.. I'm running 5mm + 3mm spacers each side at the front with my 18x10 +8 Stiches. Rears are 11 -1 with what I think are R33 hubs. Just to give you an idea on what guard mods you will need

Yeah get him to do it.. Then take pics so we can laugh. Explain to him that he will need to install a NOS spray system as intercoolers can only cool air ambient temp. Better yet add an electronic supercharger between the pod and inlet of the cooler, then an electric BOV... Now that would be hectic, and he could say his car runs NOS!

Forget GTR's if you want to make money... VIP style something like a Y32 or Y33 Cederic, Gloria, Cima.. Nissan Infinity. UZS131 Toyota Crown etc. Bombed JZX81 chaser would be my pick though if I had the chance.

Ditto on that one Was a really good game, captured the 30's and 40's atmosphere well.

Not exactly a skyline, but a Nissan turbo none the less.. My first taste of boost.. I had been on the lookout for a neat datsun 1600 for a while.. FJ20 powered would have been the ultimate, but alas my bank account didn't agree with such a proposition.. Until I had a call from a mate who mentioned a certain FJ20ET powered 1600 was up for grabs. I knew the car and had drooled over it previously in the flesh.. No way it would be in my price bracket... "He only wants 6k for it" Next day my mate drives me down to the guys place, I have a quick snoop around, front mount, BOV, Haltech, monster tach with a couple of other gauges and all in all very good condition for a 30+ year old car. Koni adjustables and lowered springs. He starts it up and with a little puff of smoke the mighty FJ20 is quietly rumbling away. "Wanna go for a quick run?" I awkwardly snuggle into the nice little black Aerotech bucket (matching pair) and click the buckle on the harness. We pull off slowly to the first set of lights. "It's still a bit wet so I won't be able to show you what she's really got" (It had rained earlier and the road was about 70-80% dry).. Lights green.. we pull off revs building and for a split second I remember thinking "Shouldn't it be faster than this?"...... Then BANG after 4k all hell breaks loose!! the locked diff clambers for grip as the car steps out as he changes slightly early into second. I'm pushed backward into the seat, car squats a bit and feels like we are about to take off! Sideways wheels still spinning he backs off a bit to try regain grip.. Third comes with some wheelspin then slingshot into 4th momentarily where a corner stops our progression. HOLY SHIT I'M IN LOVE.. One of the best feelings for me to date.. Negotiated the price down to 5k and tell him I'll be back with cash ASAP... Unfortunatly I was fair amount short of that figure at the time, came back to him a couple of weeks later with the full amount but it was sold.... Absolutely devostated!!! Oh well I would probably be dead or a paraplegic if I had aquired such a vehicle at 17 years of age.. Still hurts to this day though.

Looks great! Wish I had the expertise/patience to do something similar... Autech skirts and subtle front lip would set it off. Never noticed your sunroof til now lol
