  1. Yeah pedestrian safety was my main concern.. going to approach some engineers next week
  2. What are the laws regarding radical mods to front body panels etc? What about the headlight situation?
  3. bump
  4. Any word yet Mick?..... That torrent has no seeders
  5. Looking at something more reliable with high boost and RPM in mind.. no use pulling down a healthy engine, Also S1 & S2 loom are a little different. Freight to Sydney at a guess would be around $200-$250??
  6. Maybe a long shot.... But I reckon he found one within the last 10 months
  7. What happened to the black bonnet with speed holes?
  8. S2 RB25DET out of an auto 1/2 cut thats done 57xxxkm. Wrecker I bought it off says comp results were 175-180 across the board. Everything is there minus the turbo and coilpacks. Reason for sale is I've decided to rebuild my other (blown) S1 engine instead of using this. Looking for 1850 Sunshine Coast Qld. (07)54949736

  10. The problem (more of an advantage IMO ) is stock S13 struts are shorter than C33/A31 to begin with, wich in turn means your ceff will be lower than a s13 when the coilovers are set at any given height.. I wouldn't trust pedders word btw, they specialize in putting king springs in VL commo's.
  11. Nah Carbon is too ricey.. Found a brand new Bride type super low copy If you by chance have a Zeta II I may be interested.... Not a huge fan of the new brides
  12. There was another d00d in Qld with an absolute minta manual... but he crashed it
  13. It is a shame, for all other imports on the coast.... That is all. If you let other people drive your car in such a fashion be prepared for the consequences.
  14. I'm not really worried about actual water droplets getting into the engine... More so that it was left to 'breathe' if you will. There is a little bit of that white chalky corrosion on the aluminum parts like the inlet manifold and front cover on the turbo. What would the reason be for the initial comp test yeilding bad results, and the second one very good results? Crud around the top of the piston and rings? Am I worrying too much? lol
  15. Ok so I finally have an RB25DET sitting in the garage waiting patiently to be installed into the ceff... The wrecker I bought it off had reason to believe it had been sitting for maybe a year, some of wich was outside not under cover. It's also unclear to me if the engine was properly sealed i.e inlet and exhaust plugged up. When he first did the comp test the engine was hard to initially turn over, then showed some irregular results 145-165. After a few more rotations it showed 165-170. My questions are these- Is it likely that there was some form of corrosion build up in the bores from having the engine sit unused for so long? Will this burn off without any harm to compression? should the engine be 'free' enough to turn by hand?
  16. RB25 Turbo up for grabs off an auto series two engine that has traveled 57k.. Elbow, coolant lines, wastegate and heat sheild etc. It's all there. $400 QLD Sunshine Coast. Buyer pays postage
  17. Surveillance cams?
  18. I reckon wait another couple of weeks before you decide on removing that glorious aircon lol... If you do though just watch the pressure as it can piss all over you if your not careful!
  19. There's a good place I think on the south side who specialize in soprts and even semi slicks etc.. Theres a thread in the QLD section about them somewhere.
