  1. Whoops missed the sports tyres bit.. Slicks FTW!
  2. Tein Super Streets... 5kg front, and 4kg rear spring rates.. Height adjustable. Pretty good value too if I remember correctly... Bilstein option may be worth looking further into as well http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hl=super+street

    My Cars 90% Done

Mmm offset.. Stainless piping... splooge* And poo brown is hotness too
  4. Ok so I bought my car knowing the engine was run without oil to the point of the exhaust cam seizing. This was the result after an aftermarket oil hose fitting un-screwed itself. After some good advice from some members on here I have decided to ditch the old engine for a possible rebuild down the track... Will also come in handy for spares. My question is this- For the amount of time the engine was run with no oil (presumably with some boosting?) Is there any chance there would be some minor damage made to the turbo bearing? Turbo in question is an HKS T04e Also could anyone help with the hp rating of my turbo? Only numbers I can see is .50 wich is the A/R of the front cover yes? Every other T04e I have seen for RB20/25 has either the .56 or .60 front cover.. Is my turbo designed for slightly quicker spooling compared these, While sacrificing on overall power?
  5. I always though this is what happened to it This is in Aus.. RB20, was sold for around 15k when it arrived Link to the one you are speaking of?

  7. Hi I'm currently on the hunt for a well priced series 1 RB25DET engine. Ok if it has a few bits missing like cpu, turbo etc.. Will only be using the long motor and inlet manifold. Must have good comp and in good over all condition. S/E QLD or Northern NSW. Can pick up anywhere with cash in S/E QLD. Cheers, Jarryd
  8. Does anyone by chance know the link for the site that these pics are originall hosted on? Already tried the Watermark And if anyone has better pics of this... Please post up. Possibly the Hottest car ever.... yes ever
  9. Thats the NTSC version... No use here unless your Ps2 is chipped
  10. Coolies.. Flame throwing FJ20 rumble here we come
  11. Is it true pre 1985 vehicles don't require a cat to meet emissions laws?
  12. He resprayed it lol.. If indeed it is a stolen car, no words can describe how thick this individual is.
  13. Sounds like the one that was featured in HPI a while back.. Think it was sporting a HKS 2540 though.
  14. Rumors are that an english version of D1GP 2006 is to be released some time this year? Apparently it's already available in the US.. Did a quick search with no results.. Anyone else heard/seen anything regarding the release date for Australia?
  15. Mate spend a few hours seaching and you will find all the nfo you need on a basic drift setup.. But I'll melt it down for you. If I was in your position I would be looking at these mods in order. -Diff It is possible to have your stock LSD 'shimmed'. This tightens the feel of the diff. Downside is the diff will usualy only last 1 maybe 2yrs after that if it dosen't cop too much abuse. Cost is around $250-$300 Better option in my opinion is a low km aftermarket 2-way. Expect to pay $750-$900 for one of these. -Coilovers I prefer the usual jap brands to the cheaper ones floating around. Some people say they are getting good results with the new cheaper stuff like HSD etc. New for the price I reckon its hard to go past Racing Logics. Around $1600 a set. If you are looking at 2nd hand be sure to find some in good condition, or factor in $150 odd per corner for a rebuild. Spring rates look at either front 8k, rear 6k or front 9k, rear 7k for a daily driven car. -Castor rods, Rear camber arms, and subframe bushes. Simple pieces of gear, generic will do fine. Prob $500ish all up Also a simple round steering wheel will be helpful along with a supportive seat. Have a look on Secretdrift.com in the tech section.. Heap of good info in there.
  16. 5 and 3mm each side on the front of R33 brakes.. Probably what most would call borderline safe. Not road legal though of course. slip ons are never going to be perfectly centric to the hub... Nis50 have you got any pics of yours? Mine have a bit of play around the studs but are a light weight design wich I attribute to me having no problems at higher speeds.
  17. please tell more..
  18. lol dude depending on wich pic you mean\ The 3rd one is the hottest Laufiro I've ever seen, and the 5th is a C35 front end on a C35
  19. PM me a price on the Koni's delivered to 4519
  20. So jelous.. Love Iron Mask coupes soo much. Yours looks mint as mate, enjoy. Hopefully that grey minta 4 door that sold for 8k will make an appearance at the Nationals..
  21. Yeah I still find some of the content good to read but, perhaps this could be the route of the problem. The only competion is themselves. I would love to see some bosuzoku action!! Abeit in the form of a meeting or even a feature on one of the cleaner cars. This is what tipped me over the edge, after watching that vid something had to be done lol. I know it's easy to critisise, but this new direction the magazine is taking seems to be aimed at a different group, rather than keeping true to the HPI image. I have also noticed this in the style the new writers do their thing.
  22. Haha there goes that idea then. See I'm making an effort to abide by the rules, they just make it too hard sometimes.. Hopefully who ever does the tune are lax with their trade plates.
  23. lol That (oops I mean she ) really does look nice! Rims mesh with the exterior perfectly!!
  24. Yeah what ever insurance is the cheapest. So did you not have to apply for a police permit? What mods did your car have? Was it inspected? I'll probably look at getting a permit to last around a week.. Whats the go with trade plates? Can they be used to get a vehicle from where it's stored to a workshop?
