What sort of times can be had with a filter replacement in the manual?... I hear the factory air box is the main problem with the Fords. When people say 'filter replacement', they aren't meaning the whole air box assembly too?

I've never washed it off... And have used it on every panel, and my Work 18 inch rims... Can anyone in the 'know' confirm that there is a dangerous % of this stuff in Bug & Tar removers etc? Surely there would be some sort of warning..

I can back up this therory... My Iron Mask coupe with original stickers etc was a crazy arsed dark mettalic blue.. Could only really tell it from black in bright sunlight.

Cheers buddy but I actually mean the black box that sits on top of the coil pack cover. I tested the coil packs on this car a month ago. Had to replace one with an R32 tpe pack as it's all I could find. (C33 etc are different to R32).y

This stuff is the bomb-diggity.. I use it all the time. Then just yesterday I read on the label that it contains 'petrolium distilates' Is this stuff likely to help induce rust over time if used fairly regularly?

Getting ready for tune on an RB25. Stock comp. Slpitfire coil packs. T04e running 1.1 bar. Am I better off with BCPR7ES -11's and gapping them down to 1.0 or 0.9? Or will pre-gapped 0.8 be fine?

My mates RB20det Laurel is has been miss firing worse and worse for the last 3 weeks+. Now it won't start. We suspect it is the ignitor or associated wiring. The igniotor was sitting unsecured, roasting on the cam covers, as the coil pack cover was removed. Is there a way to test the ignitor pack with a multi-meter? And is it likely he has caused terminal damage using the car weeks after the miss firing started? Going to try get onto this tomorrow. Any input appreciated Cheers.

Know you're in trouble when the timing belt snaps from the exhaust cam ceasing in the head Probably got away with a little extra wear on the bearing surfaces..
