  1. LOL dude after stuffing around with many average cars for too long and missing out on opportunaty's, I finally had some good luck. As with alot of things in life patience is the key
  2. Funky does 0km's mean that real kms is unknown? If you by chance have any other info on my car would be interested in it. That link cleared up a couple of things for me. DJ984 I recently sold a RB20det auto Laurel in reasonable condish for a touch over 4k.. And recently saw a good condition N/A auto Ceffy for 3k.. That said it will be tough to find a decent priced Ceffy in your vicinity. I would expect to pay a little more than those prices funky quoted due to the rule change and subsequent rise in popularity. If it was me though I would prefer to import an already modded car.. It's usually cheaper in the long run. Good Luck!
  3. LOL I swear I'm going to be labelled a ricer after this I think a couple of you guys are getting this product mixed up with an actual external electricly powered supercharger (lol). No way would I consider paying for such a product. BTW the top model rrp for the electronic supercharger is $999!!!!! Even if it did prove to work I'm unsure if the costs (+ installation for some) would really be worth it http://www.cre8tec.com.au/product/main_view.php?pid=27
  4. Thought I'd drag this one up again.. Now I've decided to stick with the Wolf. Apparently Chapmans have done a bit of work with Wolfs. What are their prices like. I think I'll give em a ring. Interested in any info on past experiences people have had. It's either them or fork out $800 odd plus transport to get Matty at PITS to tune it.. :
  5. Yeah the lapping was hectik.. Specially the Dad in his excel with subs pounding and the 3 kids in the back Soo many hot Ceffys everywhere.. Good laugh was when me and a mate where walking the pits and Robbie Bolger randomly trundles past us on his bike with blown rear tyre after one of his sets.. Awesome day.. Was great roaming the pits checking out the DA cars up close.. Cut when Buea Yates got knocked out early though.
  6. LOL let me make it clear that I am almost as skeptical as you guys Wich is why I posted the topic.. Unfortunatly you were unable to explain in further detail how it works (or is meant to) Yes. Maybe you could mention if you noticed a change in engine behavior? I would rather save the hassle and pay the extra $20+ Wouldn't it be smarter to send me your account details? So I can deposit the money into your account?
  7. Sir, you obviously have'nt a clue.
  8. Pretty cool vid.. was that Ceffy sporting a silvia front end, or am I partially blind? Edit: that was a Silvia front end! Would be good to see some pics of that car.
  9. Noticed an ad in HPI #67 for an Australian company called Cre8tec. The product they were advertising was the 'Electronic Supercharger' Wich they claim can increase engine torque by up to 20%!! Umongst other things. Has anyone used this product? Is it probable that it could help with increasing turbo response? Also have heard stories of slightly increased turbo response from installing Earthing kits. These are getting cheap now days. Thoughts and experiences please Edit: btw I'm not a ricer.. Just the idea of possible cheap/easy lag reducing products interests me BELOW IS A PIC OF THE ELECTRONIC SUPERCHARGER
  10. There's a section for this stuff in the sticky's
  11. I'm geussing 26/30? looks schmick man What Ecu are you running?
  12. A bit of irony in that eh
  13. I'm in the same Predicament http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...22111&hl=wolf3d Yes PITS is your best bet on the Gold Coast
  14. Yeah came down to Bolger and Fine in the final... I have to give it to that Commodore. Put on a Damn good show roasting those tyres... Every first corner entry he did was lacking though. Worse than most of the Super Drift competetors : Was an awesome day.. Sooo many tough cars. And that JVC promo girl was prime as!
  15. Your ghey Although I agree the sedans lights are much better suited.
  16. Although Orange/black has been done to death... That is f**ken tidy as! Love the sly boot spoiler. Rims and muffler are tuff too
  17. Cheers mate I love it too Rims are 11 wide with 245/40 Azenis rubber stretched over.
  18. Unfortunately it isn't going as good as it looks atm http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ic=87081&st=200
  19. Seeing his clutch is worth 11k, I'm sure it won't be too much hassle
  20. lol I enjoyed your story... That is f**ken slackness. Fresh doughnuts are far more important than a written off ute behind the station.
  21. I'm unaware of any skyline that has an oil cooler standard?? Could be wrong. Oilcoolers don't need thermo fans I know that much. You'll find that most Nissan imports (and others) run the same or simular configuration with the aircon condensor thingo infront of the radiator. Your car shouldn't overheat with a bit of a thrashing.. It's a freakin R34!! They are designed for the occasional thrash Also don't rely on stock temp gauges.. Though yours would be credible as its fairly new. Wich magazine are you referring too?
  22. lol the oil cooler you speak of is your aircon.. Your rad is stock too. Calsonic make lots of stock parts for Nissans. Sorry to rain on your parade.. : Check if your ECU has been chipped.. I wouldn't go boosting around until you have someone check your AFR's
  23. Haha all good.. Just remembered I need a 4 cyl lol... All yours Mmm nice puny 1.3 sounds good to me
  24. Wondering if these things are worth the effort? Apparently they can slightly reduce lag.. Sounds like fooee to me. But wouldn't mind being corrected. So if you've used one.. post up the results.
  25. I'm looking for a cheap Toyota daily.. Was going to be a KE70 but this interests me.. How far off RWC do you reckon it is? Did it run well before it sat dormant? I'm on the Sunny Coast
