Yeah mate if you're heading for drift a set of coilovers with 8kg front, 6kg rear spring rates. Pretty good balance for a daily driver. Make sure to get a Hicas lock BAR. As some kits only add washers to the hicas mechanism. If you can handle a bare boot> Strip it bare.. There's a good 20-30 kgs kg's in there. After the suspension is sorted you should really look at a good mechanical LSD. But if the stocker is in reasonable nick you could probably get away with it for a few months(cause I know stock exhausts suck). If you're really cheap you can get it 'Shimmed up'. But they rarely last more than a year after that.

Yes it will probably be worn out and a little loose. Tightening the adjustmant screw on the box itself will help... Not too hard though as it will cause it to wear out quicker.

So is this going to be a new drift project Andy? Sounds good! Another thing you may want to think about is the steering box arrangement that they run.. Although it is possible to replace with a bluebird rack.. Theres a few topics around in this forum about the conversion. They run a 'long nose' R200 wich are getting hard to come by.. Especially aftermarket ones. But stockers are easily shimmed up. Stock bottom end in good condition are extremely reliable. 300+ rwhp fairly safely. Intercooled versions run slightly higher comp. Boxes are also strong- but are getting old and tend to have worn synchos alot of the time. People have used RB25/RB30 boxes on them. unsure on cost though.

I'm replacing the felt brushes for the windows, and I can't get this chrome strip off lol. Is there a trick to it or does it just clip off with some force. I've removed the screws. Don't wanna break anything
