  2. Hey, Got my Laurel about a month ago. Everything was sweet.. Until I took my aircon out (condensor, lines etc). Now idles poorly on start up, and gets steadily worse after 5-10 mins of driving.. After 10 mins it's almost at the point of stall I bought it uncomplied off a guy that had it in hs back yard for prob the better part of 8 months.. plus however long it had been sitting in shipping yards etc.. the easiest solution I can come up with is after I gave it some spirited driving I may have dislodged some gunk or rust in the fuel tank and blocked the fuel lines or filter?... Going to drain the fuel and replace the fiter this week. (Fuel is prob 1/2 Jap fuel still) or When I took the aircon out I have accidently messed with something electrical? Problems seem to coincide with taking the aircon out. Help and idea's are Greatly appreciated. Jarryd

  4. I'd be quite happy to drive a Ceffy at 250+ with standard chassis.. As long as it had some forgiving coilover settings with strut braces. Anywhere over the 300rwhp mark should give the M5 a decent go? I spose there's always option of a 100 wet shot nos setup

  7. Hi Dan. My advive for you power wise is some DIY cold air induction for the pod.. Then purachse a "DR Drift" boost controller.. $35 delivered. People have had very good results in reducing turbo lag with it. Will be usefull later on if you start looking at a front mount, bigger turbo etc. Or you could bump it up to 12 psi now and start pushing things a bit. [email protected] This is all asuming you have at least a cat-back exhaust fitted...? It is possible to modify your wastegate actuator to change boost pressure but really isn't worth it when compared to the DR Drift controller. Really good piece of kit at an awesome price Have you got an after market bov installed? Trying o figure why you need to be double clutching to keep boost up Remember these engines are designed to rev higher than most V8's..

  21. Motul Turbolight.. GTX3 are my recomendations.. 'Gates' Also very high quality belts.. Redline for box and Castrol LSX90 for the diff
  22. A good engine for one of those kits would be the Ferrari V8 that Masserati used in those cheap 80's sedans.. Remember seeing one (complete Maseratti) in good nick in Unique Cars for like 6k
  23. Ahh ok.. Supercharged 1ufe would be fun in one of those contachs... How much do they weigh? Those bullet roadsters are cool little machines too..
  24. rings, bearings, valve stem seals. Maybe valves. Decent pistons and Metal head gasket if ur looking at boost over 1 bar
  25. Buy one of them 40k Ferrari's... The real question you should be asking yourself is "do I like rwd or 4wd better"
