  1. My turbo has a broken seal. Looking for a standard fj20 turbocharger in good working condition. Mainly after the early non-intercooled type but will consider the later intercooled version.

  5. Rust (boot, front guards mainly) and interior completeness/condition.. Two things to look for that will cost you in the long run. Think I've had 3x z10's and on my 5th dr30. Soarer is more of a cruiser, usually auto, heavier, no lsd.. when you drive even a stanadard dr you know its a sports car. Tidy Soarer prices are gaining ground in Japan, as are dr30 but we've been waiting for the flow on effect for years.
  6. Firstly, that is an amazing transformation Any plans to get a 1/4 mile time in current state of tune? Do you know what needs to be modified to fit the larger pistons as I've read its quite alot of work..?

My current b pillar window seals look like Clark Rubber specials, I knew they looked haggard but yesterday tried to wind down the rear windows and found the seals wouldn't allow it Highly doubt they are still available new (please prove me wrong), will settle for good cond used if anyone has any they would like to sell.

  20. If I miss out the dr will be kept. Are you interested Andrew? If so I will get onto current (& hopefully clearer) pics quicker. Was mod plated in '06. Has a rego sticker from '09. Other than that I think I only have a receipt. My understanding is you will need nothing else on paper to get it rego'd. For rwc I know it would need new tyres, seat covers and boot latch.. Lights I will have to check after re-charging the battery. No other issues I am aware of. One more piccie I had-
  21. Might be time for yet another change, will be inspecting a vehicle early next week and if its up to scratch the DR30 will most likely be for sale. Its bone standard except for the suspension and slit spoiler. Complianced and previously rego'd in QLD. Black interior. 95xxx km on the dash. Suspect interior has been upgraded to later model spec. Interior generally in VGC apart from seats. Recently overhauled suspension all new including Whiteline sway bars, shocks, slightly lowered Lovells springs and some urethane bushes. Gearbox feels tight and smooth. Very rust free for a dr30 with original paint (one of the main reasons I bought the car). Tail lights have no cracks but are faded. New steering box. New RS badges on front 1/4 panels. Original DR30 slot mags in vgc painted black. Extremely rare rear under 'slit spoiler'. Bad points: -Blown head gasket. Stewart Wilkins Replacement head gasket included with what I believe is a full VRS kit. Engine still idled fine with the beautiful FJ throb when it was loaded off the truck. -Blown turbo. Pretty sure I was told it was a seal. -All 4 seat fabrics are heavily perished. -Needs paint Will be looking for offers over $3000 More pics on request for genuinely interested parties.   23. I was thinking closer to 10k than 15k complianced on road. The coupe is a solid car, If I spent money respraying and rwc I'm sure I could re-coup most of the outlay but but as i write a tidy iron mask sedan or FJ20 datsun 1600 in the country is looking more attractive.   24. Currently looking at my options, one of them being selling up and embarking on the well-trodden import journey. But is it worth it? This is one of the better looking deals I've recently come across.
