Just read the codes and got; P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor I) P0151 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor I) P0160 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 2) P0162 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 3) Is bank2 driver or passenger side? Are there really 3 sensors per bank, so 6 in total? (dafuq?) Given that they all happen to be on one side, i'm guessing its wiring.

Unmodified split spray EV14 injectors ?
MrStabby replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
IIRC heat from the back of the inlet valve is used to help atomise the fuel. -
On the 32 GTR, this hack; uses a diode to make the auxiliary fan come on when the air con is turned on. On the 32 It seemed to keep the coolant temp down and the cabin cooler. I'd like to try it on the Stag. Looks like there's no relay/fuses for air con presented at the wiring junction near the battery. Has anyone got a wiring diagram or a translation for the footwell fuse box? Other than waiting until the next overheat, how would i check that the aux fan is running at all?

m35 trans cooler new install flush
MrStabby replied to MrStabby's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Did that and it worked well. The fluid didnt look great so i pushed 8 litres through. Now crossing fingers to see if its enough to stop the overheating. -
m35 trans cooler new install flush
MrStabby replied to MrStabby's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I've just done the 4lts in the pan a couple of times, so it shouldn't be too bad but i havent checked in a while. I had assumed that pumping it all out would be risky for any running that occurred after the last of the fluid was out. Do you think pumping it all out would be safe? -
After i've connected the cooler, i'm thinking of running it with the outlet into a bucket for a few seconds to flush it just in case. Is there any risk with doing that? Will it flow in neutral or will it need to be in drive?

You can get your struts re-gassed. I had the Stagea ones done, and the dude put a bit more than standard pressure in them as its was still a bit soft at spec.

Yes, with significant marketing department involvement.

R32 Gtr Injector/Pump Issue
MrStabby replied to Giaccovitch's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Fuel pump electric problems can be related to the fuel pump control module (which switches either a soft or a full earth when its working) dying, and many people bypass it and run a new earth to the pump. I did that after the second FPCM died. Re injectors, if they're high impedance then you need to bypass the resistor pack. Long shot try jump starting. If it turns over really well it might lull you into a false impression of how much juice the battery is pumping out. -
I have two. 1. VJ K12 (police spec) Charger. It had a 265 and I threw out the 727 torqueflite and installed a 4 speed. No hydraulics on the clutch, just rods and levers.... It had a lot of rust... 2. UC Torana Hatch. If i had it now I would swap the 202 for an RB26. IIRC it only weighed 1100kgs.

Idle AFR and throttle enrichment on rb26
MrStabby replied to MrStabby's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ok, I wasnt in "expert" mode so the throttle enrichment tables were hidden. The Xspurts are Bosch, and they're supposed to still work well at low pulsewidths. I'll try dropping the latency and putting on more throttle enrichment as a first stop. Then later look at Feature pack if its still not right.- 4 replies

Idle AFR and throttle enrichment on rb26
MrStabby replied to MrStabby's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks man. I dont have either Feature pack, but I also notice in V2 the "Injection Latency table" sounds interesting, as; "With the larger injector sizes offered by companies like Bosch (Injector Dynamics) and sometimes to resolve issues with other injector brands, the custom adjustment of latency is required at various voltage levels." I'll have a look for Alpha-N - sounds like it should help. The idle fuel cells are already at 0 (is that weird?), and IIRC I dont need to turn off o2 correction as its not used in the bottom left hand quarter of the map, right? (eg the filtered /unfiltered difference)- 4 replies

Idle AFR and throttle enrichment on rb26 Setup: Nistuned R32 GTR, stock cams, 1000cc xspurt, Nismo MAFs. My idle is 12:1 hot (injector latency is set higher than spec), but i also have some leaning out just as the throttle is first opened. I was hoping to be able to reduce the latency to lean up idle, and fix the throttle leaning out by tweaking the throttle enrichment. However, I cant see any throttle enrichment tables in Nistune, and the Nistune doc says they are "Only available for some (RB series) vehicles". So, it it normal not to have throttle enrichment tables on early R32 GTR ECUs? And if it is normal, is there any point in trying to bring the idle closer to 14.7 and then using the fuel map to try to offset the leaning out?

[Closed] ATTKD brake kit
MrStabby replied to R377's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
ATTKD, D2, G4 etc are said to all come from the same factory, Many of us run them and they work well. Being two piece rotors you just need to replace the rings, and JustJap sell them. The pads are the same size as some AP calipers, so there's a big pad selection. 6 vs 8 pot is not going to make a noticeable difference. Try searching on those other two brand names and you'll find plenty of info. -
Low impedance 850cc injectors in rb20det
MrStabby replied to silhouttegts141's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
AFAIK you always use the resistor pack with low impedance injectors, and you never use it with high impedance. If you were to check the DC resistance of a high impedance injector, it would be about the same as a low impedance injector in series with the resistor, and that means they will pull about the same current. -

Tricks for getting fuel hose off filter?
MrStabby replied to MrStabby's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Cool thats exactly what i need. Supercheap has them as "Toledo Fuel / Vacuum Line Pliers - 301173" for $24.
