it'll rattle like a diesel and you can't miss the flashing check engine light. All 98s are the same this had been discussed and tested by many a sau punter and magazines galore. Apart from the odd bad batch of fuel they also all come from caltex which supplies it to your beloved bp, which slugs an extra 4c per litre more than others sell it for.

Well my friend they were comparing v8 super car times with gtr times, the super cars use slicks and weigh less and have 600hp or so, the gtr has less hp more weight and road tyres so if you put the v8 super cars on road tyres and had similar power I doubt they'd be 18 seconds a lap faster!

Let's see the v8 super cars run faster lap times with road tyres! And the gtr has less power and weighs more too...

Just thinking of an alternative to installing big injectors, if I used dual rails and standard 370cc * 12 (giving me the same result as 6*740cc injectors) would this be more cost effective than getting 740cc injectors? 370cc injectors are less than 200at the moment, would the labour involved end up costing more than buying 740cc injectors? Would I need an aftermarket plenum? (I was going to get one within 3 months anyway) anyone got pics? On rb25s Ta

If your going to rebuild anyway just leave it as is turbo it then rebuild it, otherwise Uve wasted 2500 bucks most na+t cars will last atleast a year so you can rebuild by then. That 2500 spend it on brakes and stud conversion, you don't need an upgrade of sway bars... It has nothing to do with your goal, forget suspension diff and all that shit until your engine is sorted, I would do the brakes then turbo then rebuild and finally suspension, alternatively buy an evo cheaper quicker everywhere 24000 evo 7 spend 6 grand you got a quick car, or sell it and buy an unfinished project with most the work done

Normally water temp would go up as well, it's all relative, maybe it's the sensor who knows that is wierd though.

Maybe you used up some of the reserve (it keeps 15l in reserve which is not indicated on the gauge) so say you used 5 of that and had 10 in reserve, and filled up 15l only 10 would show and 10 is below the quarter line - that's what I think anyway

Yes it's all from caltex except mobil's 8000 and it is all the same pretty much, you want more from it, add a $14 octane booster

Gtst basically all the standard bolt ons with 200atw so it's no slouch, it's a mix of highway and city driving. But I used to only get 360-380 I picked up 100kms from changing to standard bov and new 02 sensor

I still think if bp is ripping us off 5c a litre for a 0.1 ron more compared to other 98ron fuels is not worth it (the others have 98.5 ron) mine idles fine on all 98ron but then it's tuned (power fc) always get 480km per tank from all no difference, except that I'm loosing $2.5 (as it costs more) at bp which is a much needed cold drink in this heat!
