  2. saw: lambo, 2 x fezza 360's over the weekend, funnily all in strathfield...
  3. its not always back pressure though, some pumps do have a problem and they click off alot so go inside and complain!
  4. Bby 80i I think the plates were silver series 2 r33 chrome rims
  5. im in the same boat here, keep me updated, i also wasnt sure if a slightly thicker one will fit, anyone care to post the link for the diy so it can be done without removing dash, this way i can just get a mechanic to do it rather than spend 3 hours ripping the dash apart before i let them.
  6. saw a silver skyline in the westpac corporate office carpark number plates i believe bby- something. shane
  7. I've got a triple gauge cluster (plastic, screws into dash and holds 3 x gauges) where your avcr is, it's very securely mounted, will not come into contact with my face in an accident and I does not hinder my view of the road one bit. Never had any problems with cops and the cluster
  8. I thought the f40s couldn't be rego'd in aus for some reason, any comments? I've only ever seen 1 and that was at the f1gp in melbourne (no plates)
  9. dont forget to root for one of our own as well... has everyone forgot mark already..... "There's only one driver other than Michael Schumacher out there that lives, breathes, sleeps, eats Formula One 110% - and that's Mark Webber," Paul Stoddart.
  10. if its not genuine kms, the odo will stop if its been wound back, or some gauge clusters get replaced with less km ones so its never actually genuine unless you have log books.
  11. Cheers bro I'll give him a call for a rebuild + regas *prays to god r33 ones can be built*
  12. When you say reconditioned would that be rebuilt or just freshened up because $110 is hell cheap I got quoted $150 for rebuilding. Now if only anyone knew where to get the ac compressor rebuilt I'd be set.
  13. oh well i wont get my hopes up or anything but i'll see what happens, as long as it isnt an inspection letter i'll be happy for whatever else, if i do get something in the mail i could ask for leniency as i havent slept for 36 hours due to my mother being in a critical condition in hospital. Although it isnt nice to take advantage of this situation any money i can save just means more time off from work to be there with her. cheers for all the input
  14. do they not give on the spot fines these days? i have not gotten a fine in many years you see. atleast its only $197 and 2 points
  15. yeah i just read that on the rta site, wtf like everyone does it there ROFL hope i dont get an inspection thing in the mail as wel. please close thread
  16. as topic states i did a u turn at the corner of cowpasture road and collarenebri road after i bought some kfc, theres no signs there that say you cant do a u turn and the arrow was green for me to go rght so i did a u turn (as i have been doing for many years) to get back to my home. The officer said "you can only do a u turn where it says you can do a u turn, if it doesnt say it you cant do it" what a load of shit. Anyone know where i can get more information to argue my case? i did not get a on the spot fine because th officer said he would send it in the post. cheers in advance for any info
  17. Sell it get a turbo best thing I regretted doing mine ended up costing too much parts were like 800 for turbo + injectors + manifold + dump pipe + front pipe then cooler which was 350 then power fc which was 1500 then clutch + labour 800 then 2500 all up for labour of conversion + few lines made up + tuning + few other bits and pieces then came random small expenses like bov + cross over pipe so what's that roughly 6k I could have dropped a gtr motor in there for 6k and lived happily!!!
  18. Lol I see, me too I live up on a hilly area about 30 minutes out from bankstown but to get to work I have to travel through the "rough" parts of Sydney
  19. ^^ did you ever have problems in flooded roads? I remember last year driving home from the city (Sydney) went past bankstown and it was flooded like shit, water as high as the sill plates on your doors, people with hazzard lights stuck in the middle of the roads, I flew past them all because I wasn't worries got home though and my imobiliser was soaked and screwed up due to the floods and water being so high. Wouldn't a filter that low on your subie have caused a problem?
  20. Clear coat it then wear sunnies =d
  21. Dori34 yeah I'm sick of the power but I canT/won't push it any further because im selling up shortly. But if the guy in this thread wants more power I'd go to Lewis engines for their rb30 package.
  22. Are they low or high impedence though?
  23. ^ what he said + make friends with guys who own wreckers they usualy get alot of their imports past blue slips because they know someone so it's easier when they bring in modified imports or put cars together with a mix of parts and chuck em on the roads Also you don't want a filter that low so when you drive in the rain it'll suck in water or worse when you get flash flooding and get water all in your engine..
  24. Use the girl in spunky munkys pic , she's a little slow but shell turn out right Oh and what pm-r33 said
