  1. Right, so I've sorted the P/n bypass, and have now got spark and a crank, fuel feeds to the rails. Only thing I'm not getting is the injectors fueling. Any ideas of what to look at for this? When spinning the cas can hear the injectors click/buzz
  2. Thanks for your help, sorry i just always thought it was factory manual from the VIN decoder i used. Will explain some of my issues.
  3. So the box i was talking to has a part number of 31036 04u02 which apparently is a transmission control module, although a Japanese VIN checker says the car was manual? slightly confused.
  4. Thanks! I'll have to check my VIN, as i thought it was a factory 20det. Could potentially explain the issues with the new loom?
  5. It's a 4 door Type-M. I thought they were manuals from factory?
  6. I'm referring to the ECU in the drivers footwell? i always thought it was an ecu. Maybe i'm mistaken
  7. Thanks guys, will take a look at the manual and see if that can clear up some of my issues. I've replaced my engine ECU as had a spare but that didn't make much difference. Which led me to think possibly interior ecus fried?
  8. So it seems i've unfortunately purchased an absolute sh*t show. I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue or shed some useful advice. Car is fitted with aftermarket alarm (not 100% sure that's the issue). Car also has a brand new wiringspecialties engine loom for an RB20det. I've had loads of wiring issues with my car since the start, there's a turbo timer, boost controller gauges etc all powered off what was the radio. Currently, my indicators, brake and dash lights don't work, however my headlights do. I've now also got an issue with my starter signal only being 6volts instead of the full 12, so not getting crank either. What also might not of helped, is my mate has put the battery in the wrong way round at one stage, which i think also possibly caused some of these issues. I have also been offered an interior loom from an automatic, would the interior side of this be the same as a manual? I know there's a lot of issues, but i appreciate any help or at least a starting point to check. I've checked the fuses and all looks ok. Fuel pump still primes as well to add to the confusion
  9. New, I managed to get a brand new forklift one that i've read people are running. Doesn't start, just everytime i switch the ignition key, attempts to crank and then nothing. I'll see if i can find another alternator to try it with. I'm able to crank it by hand, and putting 12v directly to starter doesn't make any difference
  10. New, I managed to get a brand new forklift one that i've read people are running. Doesn't start, just everytime i switch the ignition key, attempts to crank and then nothing.
  11. Put a new starter on and same happens Will check the voltage it's getting, see about getting new cables for the battery
  12. Having issues with my rb20det. I'm struggling to even get it to crank. So far i've replaced the battery + starter, but when i go to try crank it struggles, similar to like what a dead battery would do Checked the voltage on battery 13.4v, all the grounds are there. Is there something that could be draining the starter?
