well i priced a genuine R34 key and for 500+ dollars Nissan can got get F#@*%D. so does anyone know if the are eny electronic pits in the key that i have to have or can i just go and get another key cut ??

well I just took possesion of my 34, problem is that I only got one. Where can I get myself a spare/replacement key ??

hey there, i'm 6'5 tall and am about to take possesion of a 34, provided you put the seat all the way back and get the right amount of tilt you shouldn't have any problems fitting.

35k, with 12 months rego. the thing also had GPS and DVD in it, so bonus.

Does anyone have any pictures of R34 GT-t's with nismo bodykits ?? I'm going to look at one on the weekend and want to know what I'm in for. I'm unsure of which nismo kit it actually is.

if you keep the standard clutch fan, that usually come pretty close to the radiator, a normal thermo is about 50mm+ think. this is what I mean about clearance.

I'd be more worried about clearance than load, but some of the bigger thermo can draw a fair amount of juice.

I know its not a Nissan but the car that will be replacing it is. I'm looking for $35000 ono. I have all the original bits I've taken off the car and they will be sold with the car. Engine - 351 Windsor 2V new waterpump gilmer drive 16 thermo fan with sensor control new starter motor new starter solenoid new battery (in boot) K&N 14" filter with extreme flow top rebuilt original Autolite 2100 carby radiator has been recently flushed and pressure tested transmission cooler Underneath - all new suspension, pedders sports shocks/front springs, new rear leafs 2" lower ride height, new bushes new uni joints brakes have just been serviced Weld Prostar wheels 15x7 fronts 15x8 rears BFGoodrich tires with 95% tread 9" diff (not sure of the ratios) Transmission - FMX 3sp completely rebuilt 2500 highstall ccnvertor stage 2 shift kit B&M starshifter (can be shifted manually as well as normal full auto) was told it would be good for 600 horses Interior - SAAS reclining bucket seats SAAS 3 point Harnesses new carpet custom centre console custom door trims Mustang dashmat JVC MP3 head unit MB Quartz splits Mechanically the is nothing wrong with this car, bar a slight weep out of the PS pump. The windows have just been tinted, bumpers and some of the other exterior bits have been resprayed, has a new set of headlight glass with halogen globes, all the rubbers have been replaced as well. Is fitted with a Brant 3 point immobiliser that is independant of the alarm with has its own 2 point immobiliser, central locking etc. Car currently has 11 months rego. I also have an engineers certificate for the modifications that warrent one. sorry but the pictures seem to come and go. (dodgy cheap webhost)

a "push" thermo goes in front of the radiatorand pushed air throguh it, a "pull" one goes behind the radiator and pulls air through it. they are both the same thermo with the polarities reversed.

something i noticed when I put the thermo on the mustang, the engine revved a lot more freely due to the weight of the standard fan and other bits being removed from the rotating assembly.

thats my mustang in the sig, I'm looking for around 35K for it.

well if it has only just started after putting a cooler in then it sounds like there isn't enough airflow through the cooler to the radiator. will a 16" thermo fit your radiator or will it overhang the edges ??

Yeah I know what you mean about parra road. I went down there and the 2 R34s I looked at looked like they were genuine, and Ben the guy I spoke to was helpful and knew what he was talking about. Looks like I might be going down there to get my skyline once I sell the Mustang.

Autobarn at Villawood have them, I bought one there for my mustang as well as the thermal control sensor. Can't remember the cost of it tho.

grettings all, I'm just in the process of selling my current car and am looking at buying an R34 GT-t. I found a nice white one down at Northshore Prestige Motors in brookevale. Has anyone here dealt with/bought a car from them before ?? P.S. anyone want to buy a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang ??
