  1. Anyone with a Liner man. Usually the SAUWA cruises are in the members thread and aren't accessible to non-members.
  2. Will be there. Hopefully there won't be any dickheads attracting attention at the stop points this time. We don't need that sort of crap as the cops will block the exits and hello yellow.
  3. Sway bars minimise the amount of body roll and strut braces minimise the amount of tower flex. For handling, a sway bar is a better option than the tower brace, but in saying that, both used in conjunction is a nicer thought.
  4. No, the cig lighter comes on from ACC onwards. You could have tested this by using the cig lighter itself.
  5. I haven't seen this one nearby. Good effort though!
  6. I ordered a diffuser from them about a year ago and I had to wait nearly 5 months for it. Never again.
  7. If you want to try method 2, I would advise emptying the fuel tank completely instead if you don't want to risk turning off at splutter. The best way to do this would be to run the car until you are confident you're low on fuel, then remove the fuel supply line and feed it into a fuel can with IGN on. You'll need to extend the fuel line by using an adaptor and some hose (it won't be under great pressure) and just watch the fuel light as it's emptying out. If you can, have someone nearby to keep an eye on the fuel can so it doesn't overfill and also, no smoking or naked flames.
  8. Two things. 1: If the fascia light is blown, it obviously won't come on to tell you that you're running low. The solution would be to remove the fascia and swap it with another socket that works with IGN on, for example the oil light, and turn the the key to IGN to see whether it illuminates. 2: Carry a small can of fuel with you and push your luck. If you run out, you can put the fuel in and head towards a service station. If the light doesn't come on and warn you, then the issue is electrical and not the globe.

  10. I think you missed the boat sunshine . http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4717703
  11. If you had the original lamp it would be a piece of cake to do. LED's, resistor, and make up a backing plate.
  12. No wukkas mate. Enjoy the sounds.
  13. There's a lot of things that I'd like to do that are out of reach of my income level, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to jeopardise the safety of my passengers, pedestrians, or other motorists to use the streets as my own personal raceway to be able to do what I want. If you can't afford it, stiff shit, deal with it. Lives are not worth the risk and the sooner people learn this the better. Ask anyone who's killed someone through this type of stupidity and see if they'll do it again. If you don't know the answer to that, you're beyond help and more than likely part of the problem.
  14. You bring your car to me here, lackey and I'll do it with you so you can learn a few things as you go. If you want me to come to you and do the whole thing it'll cost you the 34 GT-R and the 33 LM V-Spec. Or, if the Banana King really wants it, I'll step back and concede, I don't mind.
  15. Wow, that's a defeatist attitude! You didn't even ask me!!!!
  16. I'm dead against the harassment police dish out regarding performance car drivers, but when you get people who can't restrain themselves whilst owning a vehicle like this, what do you expect. The roads aren't your personal race track, and the sooner HPV owners realise this, the sooner the media, police, and the public will get off our backs. I hope the occupants are okay and make a full recovery, but it's people like this who ruin the day for enthusiasts who treat the roads and their vehicles with respect. I don't know the full story of what happened or why, but it appears the driver was cutting sick due to the damage and injuries sustained. Even still, if this wasn't the case, events like this are all too frequent. If an innocent motorist or pedestrian had been killed during this incident, then the whiplash from the event would be devastating for HPV owners. even still, what if there had been an innocent victim and it was your brother, sister, mother, or father?
  17. That's my mistress, sexy ain't she? No worries man.
  18. If you end up getting stuck man, let me know. I'm semi-retired and I have time on my hands.
  19. I used to install stereo systems for a living man and I can tell you that if you cut into the parcel shelf, you will be begging for a yellow sticker. Most cops know this and will hit you if they see it. The reason for this is that you're compromising the integrity of the chassis. If they label you, you'll need to return the shelf to stock to comply with ADR's. Use spacers or 6" speakers instead. If you're using a sub, there's no need for 6x9's.
  20. When you lift the bonnet, you'll see a small screw on top of each indicator. Remove this and then you'll need to pull the indicator towards the front of the car as it's held in by a small knuckle and joint. Under this you'll see the screw that's holding the bar on.
  21. The guards are the issue. I have a VeilSide GT-R front bar on mine and I was able to coax it into place with a heat gun and a little gentle persuasion. You will need a warm day to do the job because the heat needs to be uniform over the bar when you bend it. Needless to say the paint didn't appreciate the effort and it wrinkled slightly. If you were going to start with a bar that needed painting, it can be done. The other option is to buy a bar that has the GT-R look but the Gts-25t fit. Here's a link to Carmate that have them: CARMATE. Good luck!
  22. Yup, and the cop who pulled you over will believe it........... Riiiiiiiiiight. I agree, it's stupid.
  23. Were the WRX and SS tested, stock or modified? The link to the DPI test won't open for me here.
  24. Ahhhhh. That's a driver's paradise! In the Perth metro area, the only one that's fairly accessible is Barbagallo's on tuner days, but you'll need a CAMS license to use it. I used Singapore Airlines recently to France for 20/4 hours, and that was very uncomfortable in economy, and I'm 6ft (182cm) tall.
