Been waiting for over a month for him to rock up as it's getting done dirt cheap, and if I can't be there, I'll be waiting another month. Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!! Man I was looking forward to this one. :angry
  2. Do you have the noise in second only, or is it with the second gear onwards? You may have lunched second gear. Do you give the car shit often? Did you have a major miss going into second? A few more details would help us give you a better opinion.
  3. Where to start??? As far as the ECU is concerned, there are many types out there that do an excellent job. If you have a tuner in mind, go and speak to him to see which system he advises as some are more proficient in a particular brand and he may also tell you which is best for the turbo you settle on. If you want good results, you will be paying for a decent ECU. If you want to go cheap, get your current ECU chipped or score yourself a piggy-back, like a Greddy e-Manage, SAFC or similar item. If you're upgrading the turbo, I would advise at least an exhaust, intake, fuel pump, and FMIC. Have a look here, it may help also: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4467941

  7. If you're going to drop several grand on your powerplant, why skimp a couple of hundred bucks on a cheap gate? It's absolute madness.
  8. Just had a quick look on 2 retail sites man. They both advertise the braces for the Gts-25t and GT-R seperately, so I would say no. I'm not talking from experience here, just what is obvious. Here are the links I went to: CLICK 1 CLICK 2 Hope this helps.
  9. Damn.................. I'm taken.....................
  10. Should've done a search man, this was covered a few weeks ago. Search is your friend Click 1 Click 2
  11. Not bad on a Sunday. I think the majority of the traffic will be the participants.
  12. Shit, I thought it was Saturday! I would've been sitting there by myself saying "what a poor turnout......".
  13. Here's another thread pertaining to the AFM's limits - AFM LIMITS They're similar to the figures I found, but some have gone past the mark. Others can't hit those levels. I don't know how they've done it but you can obviously push them past their rated levels. Here's some more interesting reading: Click 1 Click 2 Click 3 Click 4 (Scroll to title Z32 afm: Wiring and info to fit to rb20det
  14. Try search man................. There's a topic happening here at the moment - CLICK HERE
  15. Probably a synchro mesh is on its way out man. Split the box and have a gander.
  16. I'd steer clear man. Some Chinese parts are okay, like downpipes and whatnot, but I wouldn't put my faith in something mechanical that could fail easily and trash your engine. Just my point of view.
  17. Yeah man, the cancer cruise is on.
  18. 20 boxes are ok for normal driving. Good on wallet. 25 boxes will take a lot of punishment but you'll need to convert the speed sensor to cable. Expect $1grand+. GT-R boxes are also good but you'll need to convert to 2WD. $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Take your pick.
  19. Found the info on http://nissanskyline.6te.net

  21. This one maxes out at 500PS (368kW) - http://www.nengun.com/tomei/air-flow-meter-z32
  22. I believe there's a few types, but these are the Skyline ones: Type H - HR31, HNR32 & HCR32 RB20DET, BNR32 RB26DETT, ECR33 RB25DET, BCNR33 RB26DETT, BNR34 RB26DETT Type Standard - ER34 RB25DET (not sure of the standard number for this one though)
  23. I'm unsure about the 33, but the 32 has a nipple on the master which has to be bled first, otherwise you'll end up with a spongy clutch feel due to an air lock. Get back to me if you can because I'd be interested to know if the 33 has this nipple as well - curious like a cat.
  24. They use an EPROM. In short, the EPROM is a memory part which will not forget its program or data when power is removed. Very similar to your ECU. It still retains the normal engine management functions after disconnection of the power source.
