i have works s1 on my car and the size on the rear is 17 x 9inch with plus 35 offset ....and thats probably pushing it for stock guards .....they will have to be rolled if i lowered it anymore .....they are pretty much flush with the guards i take it ur front guards are flared or u have after markets guards to fit the - 7 offset? .........mine are 8inch with +30 offset and only just fit stock guards

yea i was only goign to take it out go for a small drive around the block to see if the noise stops or is still there etc ........ and yea it probably has nothing to do with it ......but i am running out of ideas .....

yea mines the same ...there are no leaks from the coilovers. Im going to have a last ditched attempt at removing the swaybar completly. If that doesnt works then i will prob take it to a suspension place i suppose ......needs an alignment anyway ...

ok i installed my coilovers the other day and i have been getting a clunking sound in the rear only when i drive over some bumps ....it doesnt always happen but its a metal on metal sound clunk...quite loud. It also comes main from the middle of the rear. My car is an a31 with s13 coilovers and also have a s13 adjustable swaybar. i have a horrible feeling that it maybe a shot shock but i am hoping there maybe somehting else causing it. I know its not the jack, spare wheel. I thought maybe the swaybar as it comes awefully close to the chasis in some places. There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the rear end interms of handling and most of the time there is no noise ....just when it hits the slightly more severe pot holes and bumps its does it.

does this fit under the a31 strut brace by any chance? .....i think i have heard that it doesnt .....

ceffies dont come with a stock bov ......

i have s13 front and rear adjustable whiteline swaybars. and a a31 front juran strut brace and an r32 rear brace Coilovers are jic majic flt-a2 - for an s13...fully adjustable with camber tops on front......i got the manual that came with them and it says the a31 should have 10k front and 8k rear .........but f**k that would be hard! ...!

i have now done coilovers 8k front and 6k rear, front and rear adjustable swaybars and front and rear strut braces......massive difference compared to stock setup. Probably a little stiff for normal cruising .....might take the strut braces out so the car chasis does some of the damping! ..ahha......its not too bad and im getting used to it now. I can now definately chuck it around corners likes its on rails but at the moment its has little too much over steer so i can also get the back out quite easily. But yea back to urs do coilovers and swaybars and strut braces Not sure if the catch can is really necessary do the fmic coilpacks but yea the first 5 seem good i wouldnt worry about the turbo timer though ........just leav the car running longer ...... oh yea mustnt for get the s2 tailights ......gotta have those so ur car looks cool drifting around the track ! :lol: seriously they do look really good ! whats been done to ur car so far?

Should make it clear that r32 and r33 seats are the only way to go when upgrading

i fixed it ...it was a dead globe in the rear ...........

ok cool will check tonight ......i got a feeling one of the globes is gone .....one seemed dimmer but it didnt dawn on me that might be causing it. Will check and hopefully that will solve it.

i know this is an old thread but i have just installed the s2 tailights ....and i get the red headlight symbol on the dash aswell. The only things i unplugged were the lights to take em out and the plug the new ones in. all other cables seem to be fine were left plugged in replicate did u solve this problem? and eps do still have the pics of what u meant? and does anyone else no how to fix the headlight light on the dash

i dont have a switch there its just a plastic infill panel piece. Not sure what it would do ...probably nothing important. i dont think it would affect the ac .... the thermo fan is probably another problem not related the the button but probably related to the ac not working so well. Is the thermo fan still connected ...? considering all the other stuff which has been place in front of it .......

ok well lots of fiddling and trial and error and still have the problem but i think i know what is causing it. Firstly the other two boxes under the steering wheel (to the right of the chime box seem to do nothing ....well i couldnt figure out what they did) I realised it might be a earthing wire ....maybe worn and shorting? against the car or soemhting like that (i have had it before witht the stereo) So i moved on to the drivers door. Through trial and error of unplugging connections and driving. I have found it to be somehting to do with the main power window box in particular the connections that drives the rear windows up and down ( i have also had issue with these ......they wind down fine with the drivers door but wont go up - i have to wind em up using the button on the door and if that doesnt work i have to press the buttons on both the drivers door and the passanger door!) When i removed that coonection the constant locking stopped. Also today the motor for the drivers door burnt out (probably to do with the problem i am having) Any way thats how far i got ...and will keep looking during the week

yea thats wats it used to do but over the last few months it has started going retarted.....it doesnt always do it ... i think there is a faulty connection somewhere where it thinks the doors arent locked when they are.. or something like that

yea mine is wired to the passnger doors aswell .......... what is annnoying about mine is the fact that when im travelling above 20kms per hour the door locking mechanism constanly locks it self every 3 seconds

i think i know the road u are talking about .........is it along the oxley highway? ...throught eh great dividing range? ......thats an awesome road .......but i little far for a day cruise!! hehe newcastle would be a good halfway mark .....we dont have to go into newcastle but some the roads in the country around there could be good

i have central locking ..................and hooked up to an immobilser ......its called old nissan electronics .......i have experienced it heaps with the nissan i have had ...my windows are also f**king up ....

yea mine does it sometimes but is getting worse and worse ....and once its starts it doesnt stop. tried doing what u do but it doesnt help .........i will have a look tommorrow

anybody know where the auto door lock (at 20kms p/hour) is? Is it another box under that dash near the 105km chime? I want to take mine out as it is playing up and trying to lock the doors when ur over 20km all the time ......sometimes when ur driving along it just keeps trying top lock em ...when they are already locked !.........anyway it must die ! thanks
