the reason i went with the bm44 with the 3ports was because r33's use a 2 port BM 44 not bm50 ......so i felt it was fine. I know this cos the car i took the r33 brakes off had the bm44 on it but it was abs and 2 port so i didnt take that and when and found a non abs one instead ...which too awhile to find.

are they rb20det gearboxes ? is there a difference in ratios between the non turbo and turbo models gearboxes? what was the reason for it not being the diff?
-
mine sits at about 3000 at 110 km ...factory manual ...4000 seems seriously way to high.
-
fairly similar but yea a little softer but no way near the floor.
-
its should be fine thats what im using for my r33 calipers front and rear.

- i used a r32 gtst master cylinder bm44 ...it is exactly the same 3 outlet design all in the same position and is a straight bolt on ...hard to find though all wreckers didnt have one except for pick and payless and it was on a r30 but it was the only r30 that had one. The rest like the r31's use a pbr brand master. - The r33's use a 2 outlet one (abs) still a bm44 though from memory. Same with s14's (did they all come standard with abs?) - I think the gtr uses bm 50(r32gtr) or 57(r33gtr) which i think is 2 outlet. - Nissan pintara FWD U12 uses a bm44, 4 outlet design. It has similar sized brakes to a stock turbo cefiro.

Resin replied to Resin's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers

R33gtst 5 Stud Hubs And Brakes Do They Bolt On?
Resin replied to Resin's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
ok just confirming so others know that THIS WORKS i used s14 front hubs and LCAS (although i want to change the S14 LCAS back to A31 = i will get to this later). Front r33 calipers and r33 discs. NEW brakelines as i didint like the idea of cutting the bajo bolt. Rear Everything was R33 HUbs, calipers and discs. and drum brake. Not sure what Cash31 was getting on about ...there is no extra lug that need chopping off. THe rear hubs & drum brake are exactly the same as the ceffy aprat from the nymber of studs. Oh and the way the rear suspension mounts to the hub. Ceffy has a stud and nut where as the r33 has a bolt which screws in. Basically u have to do a bit of fiddle with the rear drum to swap the ceffy handbrake cable over as the r33 is too long. But it all fits fine and dandy!. I also put new brake lines on the rear as the r33 a tad too short and the ceffy ones also dont fit because of the banjo bolt which puts them at a funny angle. BMC i upgraded to a bm 44 with 3 outlets on the same side so it was a straight swap to. (found this on an r30 at pic and payless of all places ....dont think it was original on the r30. Only cost me 25 bucks and it worked hahaha. have been driving around a few weeks now and all is good quite a simple upgrade in reality considerign how many things could be different but arent. One of friends with a 68 mustang was bloody jelous of how easy it was to do ....and really no major customisation of anything. ok now getting to the s14 LCA's these push the hubs another 10mm roughly further out. Now i know u can use the ceffy items which is what i would like to do because i cant put wide wheels on my car very well anymore with out rolling and flaring. ie my previous works s1s would now sit 15 mm from the guards not 5 like they use to. So why dont the hubs fit to the ceffy LCA's ? is the diameter of the bolts on the ball joint? too small? cheers -
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp and yes thats right

...now i wish i had driven my bros friends 350Z around wakefield to compare. My cefiro is quicker and its basically stock. but that could be the driver of the Z.... oh and his zed was the one with the brembo brakes ....not sure on model

Resin replied to Hella Flush's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
yea wouldnt mind some pics -
yea the fire extinguisher dont normally do much anyway ......he may have put it out if he had got to it very quickly but if the fire was fuel driven then he would pretty screwed anyway.......
-
cant remember what nashi means but the rb20D is just the rb20de so thats prob what ur car came with originally.
-
the rails aswell....straight bolt in

Parts for 5stud conversion and r33 gtst brake upgrade Brake Master Cylinder BM44 off r32 gtst skyline s14 front hubs and Lower control arms front r33 gtst calipers and discs Rear r33 hubs and discs and calipers. Swap the a31 handbrake cable over in the hubs as the r33 is too long. The handbrake drum setup are exactly the same. also look at getting new brake lines from the arch to the caliper all round as the r33 ones work but dont hook up to things the same way as the originals so will wear alot more. and 5 stud wheels

yea what he said. Look for a BM44 should be off a r32 skyline gtst. This will also make it a very easy to install as all the metal lines are in the exact same spot, so it is a bolt in upgrade.
