  1. - Hey everyone. I just got my car back from Kermit today. He fitted/modded an exhaust I purchased from ebay to fit my R32 GTR - with a 3 inch hi-flo cat I purchased locally. He custom fitted some flanges to fit the job etc. I must say, the job was well done, although it took a bit of extra work (by fault of the car) - the fit/finish was a top job all done in a respected time. Kermit : it sounds 10 times better now, I can actually hear the turbo spool up now - and no - unwanted backfire It pulls better etc than before! I thoroughly recommend the work of Kermit 100% - feel free to PM me for more information. oh yeah - and Kermit's GTR - is tidy as! - and goes hard
  2. Too true. I went from a 93 rolla - to an R32 GTR While I've had some good moments with the GTR, i regret not travelling sooner or younger. I'm set to sell my car after xmas - and i'm going on a long well deserved trip around the globe (round world - open ticket). While I dont regret buying the GTR, I certainly do wish that I bought it a few more years down the track, when I could easily afford to do all the kool things to it and not have to worry about the could of should of duties. I've just turned 23, so not all is lost, but i guess this ambition is not for all. My honest advice (even after owning a GTR) - have a good think about what you want to do - and what is important to you, I reckon buy the skyline and keep it how it is for a while, then gradually as you get money do stuff to it - but only gradually and not drastically. and see what else takes your fancy - travel? girls? who knows!
  3. maybe also an idea to check or change the fuse, see if it makes any difference - if every thing else is fine.
  4. Hey All. A while ago my drivers side wiper on my r32 gtr carked and seems to have snapped the underlink rendering it useless. I was just wondering if any one has any recommendations of where to find a wiper + the under links/arms for an r32 skyline. I've trie Jap Parts in maddington who have said 45 for the wiper arm + 125 for the under links =/ I tried C-red, first time they said they'd call me back (2 weeks ago), then i tried today and the person who apparently "knows" won't be back in for an hour. Any other suggestions or can any one comment on what price should i be paying, I thought the underlink parts were a bit $$$ - but if thats the goin price i'll pay i guess. Thanks in advance.
  5. Do you happen to have the Fuse box or any of the fuses in the engine bay? Also, is the alternator in working condition?
  6. These were Sold last night. Thank you!
  7. These are now Sold - Thank you. Hey All. I've recently (or finally) bought some new rims/tyres, now I need to get rid of the old ones! They came with the car when i bought the car - from the bloke whom imported it more than a year ago. From what I can tell, they are your stocker r32 GTR rims, that have been painted over (definitely not powder) with white paint. The tyre on the rims - are snow tyres from japan, and are not legal - the tread is pretty dodge anyway, as you can tell from the pictures. The rims themselves are in OK nick, with no actual gutter rash on all 4, the paint however is not the greatest - as you can see from the pics - they have peeled off from general wear and tear. I just looked at them again, there are no major dents or grazes on the rims - on all 4. If you really wanted to, you could get all the shitty paint off and properly powder coat them as for the tread/tyres - i guess they grip, but what you do with them is up to you! Definitely not "legal" and defintely not something you;d wanna go crazy with in the rain. here are some pics below, not the highest quality as I took them with my phone. 4 Treads - Click! Nissan Branding Top view Top view2 As for price, i'm open to offers - lookin around 300-400. Perfect for your dori pig I'd prefer initial communication through PM on here. so drop us a line.
  8. [Deleted by Prank] - Your opinions are not welcome in this thread or any others in the for sale area. Pull your head in or we will start banning!
  9. i like that rear bar mate. what type is it?
  10. Hey. I had a pair of snow tyres on my gtr before i could afford to buy new rims. I didn't drive my GTR that much, so it wasnt' that bad. Probably spent a month or 2 on snow tyres. From what i can remember, when my car went over the pits - the bloke i bought it from had to switch tyres with normal tread - apparently snow tread used to be "legal" up until about a year or 2 ago. So if you do get pulled over and they do notice your tread - they most likely will give you a defect notice. Being australia though, i dont think they would know the different between "snow tread" and normal or even slicks/semi's. As for Grip - they were fine in the GTR, easier to get the back out a bit - but i think the car behaved due to the 4wd kicking in, i'd imagine things to be a bit more "slide friendly" on a rwd platform car. In the wet, definitely wouldnt recommend these on any car, infact i wouldn't run the risk on any car - or any weather. Get them replaced quick smart!
  11. Hey all. I'm after a used or a fairly new exhaust for my 89 '32 GTR Something around the 3inch mark would be great, nothing overly noisy but yeah! Turbo back prefered, all front pipes etc included would be great! Im in Perth, WA. Something local would be great - but i wouldn't rule out interstate purchase. PM would be prefered as im pretty useless on following up threads!
  12. You have my vote on the GTO ! I remember getting mine over 410km in Gran Turismo - original - fell in love with it since. I settled for a GTR r32 Maybe one day i'll have an affair with a GTO I dont think these cars get enough attention they deserve in australia. As for the looks, i definitely think its up there with the series 6+ rx7 - one of my other favourite shaped jap cars. Each to their own with looks, my ex gf thought the r32GTS looks like a family car! My new gf lost her licence due to DD - so she cant afford to be picky with the GTR There is a video google on one of the original US ads for the 3000GT VR4. 3000 GT vr4 original ad in the US - video google ! Its about 8 minutes long, I'm pretty sure its a promo vid or something, enjoy!
  13. Wicked, thanks heaps for that! If any one else was interested for the DBA 4000 series - slotted. Front Rotors - DBA #: 4926 SL + 4926 SR (front left and right slotted rotors) Rear Rotors - DBA #: 4908 SL + 4908 SR (rear left and right slotted) I'll update with a price when I get them.
  14. Hey all. Did a few random searches on this forums, couldnt find anything 100%. I'm in the market to upgrading/replacing my rotors before I sell my car. I've read abit about the DBA4000 series, as they suit my price range pretty well. With switching to the dba4000 series - is it a straight swap, will i need to modify anything of the existing setup. Any part#'s or pricing any one could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  15. hey kumusta ka! any chance of these coming with the rubber - if so - how much?
