Missus has driven my car a few times now. Scared that she'll crash it. Not that she'll do anything wrong, just really doesnt want to be the driver is anything goes wrong with what i've put so much time and effort, sweat and tears into. Eased into it though. Comming back from SA i had a kip while she drove for a stint. Woke up to her promptly saying "Ya know, your car handles better at 130 than it does at 80?" Gave me a little shock and smile at the same time She pulled a dirty one on me the other day, i got hit in the head at hockey n needed stitches, so she drove me to the GP and then home. My mum n her went out to get my car from the ground. Mum came in and said "you know how accidents happen in three's..." My heart just sank! I started the 20 q's establishing it was my car n was told "you better just come look" Walked out the front as my gf was just walking in from the street, she couldnt hold her smile. It was dark so i couldnt see my car but knew i'd just been jibbed! Bloody hell that was a REALLY BAD FEELING! That could be another topic though. The thing you can claim with the exhaust is that you had a rusted out muffler and needed it to be replaced so it didnt go over the 90dB limit. I wouldnt be too worried about it. With so many Skylines modified they probably wouldnt know what a factory exahust tip for them looked like.

I can understand flashing for a speed camera, that's not dobbing in, but i will NEVER flash for a booze bus. If you are stupid enough to DUI, then you deserve to be punished. Kudos for your efforts. A guy i know recently had the TT kit put onto his 350Z. We both work around the corner from APS. Yes they are difficult to deal with, but only if you dont look like your made of money. I dont have a car that looks worthy of their kit so the guy i spoke to (i think Peter) wasnt interested. Mainly as it's for a VQ30det that i'm going to be putting into a track gazelle and I was only after components within the kit, rather than the kit it'self to make a VQ30dett. They guy i know however came in, 2 weeks later dropped his 350 off, and a week later picked it up. I'm not sure on the end price, but i'd say it would be in the $10-15k category. He's now needing to upgrade brakes as a result It's definately a pro install and that's why i wanted the components! Oh well. Looks like HKS will be getting my money instead. It's amazing what can happen if you give off the odor of $$$$$$$$$

GF's dad has a GQ... well... what's left of one anyway. Runs a 350 chev in a FG panneled tube chassis Fuel injection carbied too. so it's a little over the top for what you need, but a RB30e would work (low down torque) cheap option. I was pulled over 3 times since friday. Not fined, defected or anything... just "random" checks. One was at DA in Adelaide, the other 2 were going to and from there. Both time's in the North Western Suburbs. It's not like i drive a "look at me" car. S12's are not exactly what you'd call traditional hoon vehicles. I'd say your lucky.

Personally I would keep it standard colour. But if going to fade it, do it so it looks like it was meant to be done. If you mask a word or logo into the darker tone (that way it's not in the darker tone) it wouldnt be overly rice and if it were skyline / infinity / nissan etc it could really set it off if de-badged. How light is the car paint atm? If a darkish blue you could even afford to paint the lower part black and fade that up. Fading is not easy by any means and your friend will need to be very skilled!

Renault could use their own engine and keep everything else with the way the transaxle is set up. I doubt they would cross breed directly, as they want to reduce Reault's manufacturing costs... not Nissans. They will take as much technology as they can though.

I've booked into a hotel just north side of the CBD, so a-ok for the stumble home after the pub sat and still the right side of the city for Lala-land I have a feeling most ppl will be going seperate ways once nearing Adelaide.
