  1. 1000% percent the looks just aren't visible, I was shocked when i found out the the only thing holding the OEM diff ( rear side ) is one stud was can easily crack when trying to launch the car or really beating on it, hence why this brace connects to the subframe/control arms and even includes a fancy jackpoint, With the forced induction route, I would have quickly launched the diff out the back of the car without this upgrade. The Z1 and GK tech don't offer the same "cool" look so to speak.

  5. Thank you Colin for the response. It actually does help as there isn't information what so ever with using EcuTek functions with the AutoStrada Kit, so its very scarce. Honestly, I don't even want the ability for cruise control, I literally only want the ability to switch maps + AntiLag from EcuTek. Based on what your saying, every ECU is optioned from factory its either just disabled and have to have it enabled, however that enabled function won't even work if there are not switches to utilize it. So then the Can-bus is just used to capture information such as the speed/set speed, am In the right direction to where I should be able to just plug in the controller with the cruise control switch and have it enabled in the ECU, then EcuTek would be able to do the rest? Don't get me wrong, it would be a "nice to have" feature having Cruise Control, but I would be more in favor with map switching and Anti-Lag, I do have EcuConnect OBDII app can should have the function there to switch maps.
  6. Digitized some instructions i may have obtained. AutoStrada V36 Cruise Control Instuctions.pdf VDO Cruise instructions.pdf
  7. Hey Team, A bit to unload here. Hello from New Zealand I have a 2009 Nissan Skyline 370GT ( Type SP ) Auto 7 Speed, that I've had since 2022 and have loved the car since. Its painted in its factory QAB ( White Pearl ) with the Impul front lip and rare boot lid/spoiler with woodgrain interior. Mods since I've bought it and installed: Stillen Gen 3 Long Tube Intakes Motordyne Shockwave Catback Exhaust JDM Skyline Taillights Fake carbon spoiler and front grill ( Will be taking off.... its cringe ) VR30DETT Transmission from the Q50/Q60 to hold up to 550 Foot pounds of Torque ( 753 nm ) reliable Currently I plan to turbo the car and have all the parts needed ( Photo Included ), I have my tuning day set on August 8th and choosing EcuTek as my tuning platform. Two of my work colleagues has their 370Z ( Manuel ) and 370GT coupe ( Type SP - Manuel ) also turbo'd and they have inspired me to get it done I have prepped quite a wee bit for this, as I had done the VR30 transmission swap over to this car so that I can achieve my HP goals without torque being an issue. I've taken quite a cautions route, as im always thinking about the safety as well as performance with my build, I'd rather do it properly and not cut corners etc etc. Any who, I've recently picked up the AutoStrada cruise control kit with all the included cables/wires/instructions. I've been hella researching around and can't find much on the integration that it has with the ECU and/or system. the only reason why im asking is, because I'm getting EcuTek and one of them RaceRom features allows the ability to switch maps via the cruise control function, which I am currently in the grey area if this would add-on via the Canbus will allow me to switch maps or have the option to use Cruise Control to begin with ( showing up on the instrument cluster to advise Cruise Control being set etc etc ) Because of my model being Type SP, Cruise Control on these models was never an option from factory unfortunately. Anyone here that is able to shed some light on if the Cruise Control via AutoStrada gives OEM ability over the cruise control. Would love and appreciate any response and/or assistance with this, also happy to answer any question about my build and ill try pitch in where I can. Warm Regards,
  8. Hey guys first time poster, For the past few months I had picked up a 2006 350gt Type SP and i have enjoyed it so far and loving the performance. What I've done since I got the car Replaced all internal bulbs ( as when I got it all of them were missing ) Tinted the taillights ( Image attached before and after ) Fixed the left rear window as It wouldn't go down ( replaced window regulator as quite common issue on these car ) Fixed the reverse camera as it wouldn't come in at all ( took me ages going through forum post, turned out that someone unplugged the camera connector cable on the left side of the boot ) Regassed the hood struts as it wouldn't stay up I have been lurking this forum a lot and was wanting to do a bit of mods to the car to increase performance and sound. I think base HP for this model is 305-315 The engine in this is a VQ35HR where's many posts suggest they are in 2007+ cars which is weird. I have a list of mods/parts but was wanting to ask you guys if im going down the right track in terms of this as im not a mechanic but wanted to learn on how to install these things for further knowledge etc. Intake: Stillen Gen 3 ( https://conceptzperformance.com/stillen-402849-generation-3-ultra-long-tube-dual-intake-kit-infiniti-g35-07-08-sedan-v36_p_3075.php ) - $495 Suspension: Tein Flex Z Coilover ( https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/suspension-braces/listing/3056436717?bof=uCBl6IUW ) $2,099 Exhaust: Motordyne Shockwave Catback ( https://conceptzperformance.com/motordyne-shockwave-eg37-s-catback-exhaust-infiniti-g35-g37-sedan-v36-rwd-awd-md-015_p_30645.php ) $2,099 Carbon Fiber Hood: ( https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/body-kits-mouldings/listing/3055276702?archive=1&bof=S9aqtgPN ) $1,299 Menu conversion to English: ( https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-stereos/other/listing/3054355076?bof=b7bOwQQn ) - Is in my local city can visit in store, $399 Using the Conceptz website has a chart for compatible for the car etc which starts with 2007 and was unsure if these parts will fit with my car. Any suggestions would be appreciated or parts to add etc or just some general advise
