    So priced up a ECUtek bluetooth Dongle for my 2020 V37 400R and after reading No Tuning credits included i thought i will investigate this. So looking into what this was i stumbled across a ECUtek dealer where you can buy Flash points or Tuning credits for $2.50 each. then i went down the list of tunes they have for engines/cars and i see VR30DDTT for 300x Points. so is this meaning that a tune for my VR30 is going to cost 2.50x300 Im guessing its just for the file no dyno tune? or am i completley wrong?

    hahaha i was actually thinking about doing something like that washer mod lol. but i gotta be honest the tips on the 400R also look dog shit its a shame they used the same tips on the 400Z lol.

    Looked at ConceptZ HKS exhaust i just find $1000 shipping sounds crazy. and that was USD so $4400+ after AUD conversion thats the exhaust and shipping. just seems crazy is there anyone else in Aus that sells any of these exhausts?what about these will they fit they say up to 2016 though mines a 2020 just wondering if they will fit?

    Im thinking of getting some new wheels soon so i might keep a stock in the boot some how if i can fit and secure it. i will just buy a scissor jack from supercheap aswell. thanks guys. might even see if i can find a space saver just to get me out of shit.

    looks like it has no spare so im guessing there should be goop and a jack and handle. Anything else? im going to try and order all the stuff from Nissan if i can or get some sort of aftermarket kit.

    Yer i was talking to someone about the dump pipes and he told me the VR30DDTT dump pipes arent like regular turbo dump pipes. apparently they are mated to the turbo itself? but he also stated i would not need to change them unless trying for over 600hp plus my injectors would have to be change anyway as they are limited to 500hp but he insisted that i can make 500hp with no modifications just a tune. this is just what i have been told by a performance shop which i wont name but i still want an exhaust as i think the tips of the V37 Skyline looks dog shit so a cat back at a minium with nice tips.

    i looked at a HKS Exhaust for my 400R and the pricing was out of this world like to get it posted from the US is crazy. it was more then $2000 postage and i understand its a heavy item but thats just a cat back like $5000 for a cat back exhaust to my door imo is crazy. There was a performance shop offering me a similar exhaust for $8k sure they just got it posted to and trying to make some extra cash though they said labor costs of installing but yer cat back and im paying $3k labor yerr nah. I remember i got a custom exhaust made for my TX3 back in the day from Hitech Mufflers on Parramatta Rd just wondering if i could get one these days for under $5k for my VR37?

    i have been looking at this ECUtek tunes for my V37 and just wondering if i but it and put it in my ODB connector if i just remove it when the vehicle is off are all the tunes removed aswell ? like basically removing the dongle puts the car back into a standard state? i have never played with ODB connectors with tuning i have always had full ECU with hand controllers so this is all new to me.

    I have been looking at some setting on the alarms for the Q60 and what buttons do and so and also been looking for details on the alarm in my V37 which is a standard issue with the car. settings like window roll up and a few others seem to not work at all. i cant seem to find exact info on V37 alarms so Q60 is all i can really go off i have not tried 400Z alarm settings or info yet so that will be next. any one got like a sheet of info on the alarm system in the V37 as all my documents are in japanese but i thought the system would basically be like standard through similar models?

    Ok kool i was worried that it used the maps from the OEM sat nav which it piggy backs from awesome sounds like a win win then. Ive noticed alot of apps lock when i start driving and wont let me load them. Apparently there is an app loader i can use to bypass that aswell like Youtube and all that but i havent really got into it all yet.

    If there was a way i could access the screen itself from a PC and modify stuff in it like hack into it?

    Nah. with they GPS i tried to transfer the Australian maps onto it and updating it and not been able to get anywhere yet. best i can do is Android Auto and then it all comes up Australian. Everything else is in English so there is no problem there. its just the GPS that won't give me anywhere else but Japan. Wondering if i could buy a Nissan screen from a wrecker and swap it out but im sure its a long shot as it seems alotta stuff for the vehicle is held in these units.

    i have seen a few VK56 into 350s and 370s. i must admit there is not much wiggle room in my engine bay of the V37 skyline compared to my R33.

    Im actually thinking all the Map and all that will stay Japanese due to using the same Original NAV unit.

    I have the VR37 400R it says Skyline and has Nissan badging all over it from Japan.

    So i was checking these out and im thinking about chucking 2k on a 256gb model for my vehicle. After watching a video on how it installs the interior seems identical to that of the Q60 so i cant see an issue. Though i see they actually leave the top screen in the car behind it still attached and working with piggyback cables that run the new tesla style full screen. In saying that this probley means that the new screen will still have all the Japanese settings and GPS and so on and buying this screen will not correct that small issue at all which is just a small thing that irks me with the car. Otherwise this fullscreen looks awesome anyone got on and how is it with screen lag as i bought a Kenwood deck a while back from my WRX and i feel like the things is laggy and crap. though better then what the WRX offered. https://squarewheelsauto.com/products/new-aucar-mark6-tesla-style-screen-for-infiniti-q50-q60-mk6?variant=43153281646800

    This motor sounds like a beast i cant wait to see more info about it and how potent it will be compared to a VR30 and VR38. Wonder if we will see many 400Z owners going for a swap upgrade. Obviously its only Auto from what i have been able to read about. these new nissan engines are beast platforms.

    Yes will do. watching a few Vids on the tube about a dude putting a sub it. he is running it in the standard spot aswell with an amp. looks like he runs RCA's from the headunit and power then uses a connector onto his old sub wires and sends them to what looks like a Control unit of some sort. LC2 Not sure why he used this maybe the stock head unit has no woofer control? but with a Mono block Amp i should not have any issues controlling it?

    Yer Nissan basically told me to get f**ked on my V37 firmware or any update for that matter. Basically Private/grey import and is not released in Australia and No Parts can be offered in Australia to fit or any software upgrades or something to that nature.

    yer so the AMP is in the back under the tray and the sub sits in the tray. im thinking of unplugging the amp itself and checking what wires do what and just wire everything up from the styandard amp/sub loom. just hope everything works as intended but im thinking there should be all the wires i need.

    i dont change tyres to season so it will most probley be just the once. just if i get a new set of wheels.
