Ok been looking at getting aan ECU in the next few months for my GTS25T been really looking hard at the Adaptronic range what do you guys think? I want to get rid of the AFM i would have had a Power FC JETRO but heard they are hard to come by these days. I also dont want to get a Microtech as i had a VLT calais with RB25 head and all the microtech did was make my can run rich and everyone i knew who has had a microtech cars run rich as a jew so i aint going to bother with microtech. My brother has a EMS Stinger in his AE86 4AGE BlackTop 20v he has had problems with MAPS not saving so im trying to steer way from them aswell. I have been told good things about nissan tune boards and stuff but i rather go full ECU.

so i can run an RB26 with all the RB25 bits then apart from manifolds and intake? so if i use RB26 intakes i only need to use the RB25 TB ? -

ok i understand that the RB25 injectors use side feed and the RB26 use tail feed thats fair enuff but couldnt i use the RB25 rail? i also know about the stud patterns on the manifolds the exhaust isnt a big deal as there is no electronics on that part in take is similar in this aspect only really TPS and im guessing i could get a plate to use the RB25 TB on the RB26 inlet. Also depending on what turbo i use intake air amount might not be an issue atm. -

well as far as i knew the AWD meant you didnt have to lock hubs in when back in the 80's the 4WD'd like patrol required you to get out the car and lock the front hubs in by a switch to engage them. -
My mate bought a GTS4 which had an RB25DE in it and replaced it with a RB30ET using a sump off a stagea i think it was and then now he has dropped a RB26 head on it and using the twin turbo setup off the RB26 until he can get cash for a big single but my question is...is the whole drivetrain setup on this car the same as a GTR as he is now telling everyone he has a 4 door GTR and i was sure that the Gbox and drivetrain was totally different can someone set this str8 so i can tell him to shutup plz lol.

Ok woke up today noticed my rear passenger tire was flat so i pumped it up but checked to see what was letting it down found a screw in it nw ill go get a repair kit took the will off to fix it and 2 my suprise i have the rubber grip seperating from the inside of the tyre i reckin it would have blown off tomorrow on the M5 doing 110kmh probley = death. The tire was only bought in december last year and has never been driven on flat while i have had it as far as i know it was brand new im not going to say where i got it from but i wont be going there again. it was Continetil brand i think. So maybe this was my lump lump lump i was getting and not the HICAS as i thought. -

Hmmm yer i think it might actully ill give it a try on the way to work but i know the steering wheel must not be on str8 because if i put the wheel str8 my car goes right hold it slighty left to go str8 i dont think i have had any sort of front damage to the car i think more the boss kit i changed the wheel when i bought the car but didnt touch the boss kit. The HICAS light only comes on if there is a issue is this correct. -

I notice that my wheel is slighty turned right maybe it isnt on properly ill check it also blinker turns off quick if im turning right slightest left turn of wheel a d it switches off say like a round about where u go around left then right but the other way its perfect. Why i sthis HICAS so bad alotta peolple i hear get a lock bar and dc it but then most say its because it aint worth getting fixed. also my HICAS light never comes on at all only when i start car. -

Ok try to get the HICAS diagnostics and i couldnt get the diag happening so im thinking that maybe my HICAS light isnt lighting up because my boss kit isnt allowing it to work. -

yer well i took my tires off had a good check of them not a problem and all the suspension seem sgood np at all. -

Hmmm i have a momo wheel aswell i dunno what boss hit it have either i thinks its also momo so i dunno if my hicas is stuffing up i never see light on only when i start the car and then it switches off but i am also getting a scraping when i 1st start out driving the car when cold and a lump lump lump like i am running over golf balls but only with right hand rear wheel i check tyre seems good and when i get abit of speed it seems to go away and i dont feel it till i leave my car and start it again after work. -

Ok i noticed this on monday feels like my car has say a golf ball in the tyre as it turns i get like a lump lump lump lump you get what i mean not sure if it was front or back seems to go away after i drive for abit or get higher speed or i might not just notice it as much. I have no idea what this is i checked out my tire front and back and nothing seems out of the ordinary. I think i will pull my front and rear wheels of my right side and check discs and see for any play with the hub for bearings. Just hav eno idea what it could be i had a mate say my HICAS could be f**ked? i dont know how to check this.

yesterday i opened my sunroof to let the wind blow thru my locks and a wiperblade style seal fell out and landed on my i crapped my sefl and i have no idea where it goes in my sunroof at all. i also noticed that there is about a mil gap between roof metal and sunroof seal on the passengers side but if i push up on my sunroof it moves into a nice posistion might be loose or somthoing can i fix that?

Nope wont be going black top or 20V or 16V it will be a 3RZFE i have checked this out read alot about them fit into earlier rollas without much hassles w58 box fits mounts is the only mod needed to mak eit fit and a custom intake plenum for bonnet clearence not much on youtube about the engine though that i cud find. I know its out of a hilux 97

yes i know of this engine the only 3SG that was made in RWD format nice engine but i think im looking at a 3RZFE 2.7LT from a 97 hilux keep it NA for awhile then turbo it when i get more cash to buy a nice big snail.

i have heard alot of good things about the L67 V6 SC like its the strongest engine holden has ever built and stuff like that Guys running 10's with a twin turbo setup on standard internals also heard they are very hard to source and alot are fake standard V6 with a SC on top. -
is the F22C a honda prelude engine i have seen a AE86 with a s200 engine woukld have cost abit i think an sr20 or 4AGE is happening im also looking at a VQ20ET or VQ30DET what about these nissan engines i really didnt wanna use a V6 though as balance would be stuffed.

Ok so an NA 4cyl you reckin hmmm my mate has a V6 from a VN in his rolla goes well NA but seems so heavy on the steering so that why i am leaning towards 4cyls. so a 20v or a 16v?

Hmmm 13B aye my mates RX7 SIII wads a J port souned awesome lol. yer i guess i just dunno alota about Rotors imma start some reading about them see what i can muster i will have to go turbo but i read that its easy to go from NA to turbo with a seal change?

i have never owned a rotor only known 2 peopkle to have rotors both RX7 series 3 and 6 1 was so unreliable and the S6 got stolen 3 times go well but also been told easy to make quick if you can afford the fuel lol. But then if ya scared of fuel prices dont do up a car a guess. i dunno enough about rotors which is another thing im thinking a 2Tr-FE i think it is 2700cc hilux engine or go 20V or just 4aGZE and put a T03 on there or somthing. Might even just go 20v or 16V and run a carbie webber setup for easyness.
