  1. Guys Bought an R33 diff which will not fit the ceffy due the the back cover being different. Anybody got a spare back cover to fit an R200 diff and a ceffy with hicas? Thanks
  2. Hi Being in Darwin, rebuild not the best way? RB24! If you are just after an engine, can try Ichiban, around $700 for complete engine, tested. Sydney. There was a guy in Melbourne that was advertising Cefiro half cuts, but have not seen for a couple of months. Hope this helps!
  3. Guys Would prefer combined split dump and front pipe. Thanks
  4. Yeh it is still a R200 diff, so worst comes to worst, just change the front coupling on the diff, I think!
  5. Guys Anybody tried to fit the rear part of an R32 tail shaft onto a Ceffy? Have got a GTR diff and was wondering if I can use the GTR tail shaft or not.
  6. Thanks, got one. R33 is too tall for the Ceffy anyway. Regards
  7. Hi Am in the process of preparing to do this myself, almost ready to go! Assuming you will go for rb25det engine and gearbox, there are lots of little things you need to do, there are a lot of threads in the performance sections, the basics - Can buy front cut approx $4000+ or just engine and gearbox approx $3000 - If you just get engine and gearbox then will need computer, loom and aif flow meter. Approx $300 Other things you will need, - From advice I have replaced the timing belt, water pump, seals and exhaust manifold studs, costly but should be good for the next 100,000km! - will your radiator cope? I am going to use an R32 GTR one (I only have RB20DE auto) - rb25 gearbox has a digital speedo drive, so you will need to convert it to mechanical drive, can use R32 GTR drive (Specific thread on this) - Gearbox mount will need to be modified, - Will need an R33 yoke for the gearbox and will need to get it fitted to your tail shaft, which may need to be shortened/lengthened - Electrical, some different ways here, I am planning to use the rb25 loom and modify it to connect to the ceffy body loom, will be getting some help here! - Remember you will need to get it engineered. Think thats most of it. Hope this helps Regards
  8. Guys Putting an RB25 into the Ceffy, so need more cooling power! Thanks
  9. Thanks, Replicate It does get a bit confusing! Didn't end up getting the diff and will leave it for a while while I put the RB25DET in. Regards
  10. I was assuming 6 bolt equals R180. Which is standard diff for NA auto???
  11. Thanks for the comment. Both diff and half shafts have 5 bolt patten. Assume hicas will fit around R33 diff, the length of the halfs shafts will be OK and that the splines will match. Regards
  12. Half shafts are the shafts that go from the diff to the hubs. Assume an R33 R200 diff will fit. Regards
  13. Hi Guys Can I use R33 1/2 shafts or do I have to stick to R32? Can anybody please advise Thanks
  14. Hi guys Doing rb25 conversion and am after yoke so can set up drive shaft. Will buy tail shaft if necessary. Thanks
  15. Guys Am after series I
  16. Guys After complete loom through to ECU. Thanks
  17. Guys Have bought an RB25DET to put in my Cefiro, which is currently an RB20. Thought there would have been a thread on how to do this conversion, but could not find one! I presume it will bolt straight in, but just wanted to know about best electrical method with standard R33 loom and ecu. Also digital speedo with mechanical dash. Any advice appreciated Regards
  18. Hi I have been working through this myself. Gave up chasing original ceffy one. R32gtst handbrake fits. Where the cable goes through the floor, the floor is already marked out, but you will have to drill and hacksaw it out. The mounting bracket for the ceffy release is no good for the handbrake so you will have to make some spacers up to fit, fairly easy (have heard that others actually took the braket off R32). There are short cables from the back of the handbrake that meet up with the cables going to the back wheels. You will need the short cables off the R32 and you will need to modify the ends to put a thread on with the right length (not too hard, need to find someone that can do that for you). As for the console, I could not find one in Australia (that anyone would sell to me anyway) so after 12 months have bought one through Japanese Yahoo (see Mr Zac under sponsors)! They were quickly snapped up though! Just checked, none on there at the moment. Hope this helps Regards
  19. Thanks for the info Think I will go through Nissan for most of it. Heard water pump same as RB30 today. Regards
  20. Thanks, I see now, when I send a PM need to tick the box to save in sent massages. Regards
  21. Guys Have at last bought an RB20DET (so will soon go from NA to turbo!), but need to get some bits Any ideas? I am in Wollongong. Thanks
  22. Guys Don't know if I am doing something wrong or if everybody is having the same problems? Have sent 20 PM's and none of then have made it to my sent folder! Any suggestions? Thanks
  23. Guys Does anyone know the differences between these heads? Know cams are different, but what about valve sizes and spring tensions. Asking as am thinking of throwing RB20DET bottom end on my RB20DE, should I do the head also? Thanks
