Look for Business hotels, they are normally located near major train stations, have shower/toilets in rooms (not communal).
I found a few through JNTO (http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/) and Japanican (http://www.japanican.com/index.aspx).
I didn't see a Supra. I was only around for the morning session and had to leave in the afternoon.
LOL Dan, I can't believe you just uploaded a majority of the pics. I think there should still be some more pics...
I've run bolt on spacers on my car before.
There seems to be some hit and miss with the bolt on spacers. Some people have issues, some people don't have any.
15mm is too small. Look for atleast 20mm spaces but I've found the 25mm ones are the best. I do have a pair of 20mm bolt on spacers but I can't use them on my rims because the studs from the hub hit the rim. You could try them, but they are on a car at the moment.
If you want to keep everything legal... I think you'll be okay with the R33 gear on the R32. The specifications (I think) are the same as the R32 GTR. So you will not be changing anything that is not a factory option for the R32 therefore does not require certification.
WINNER!!!
Get some speed up, swing the car one side, kick the clutch, come off a bit and flick the other way for the corner, plant your foot and off you go!
Try it sometime.
I agree, it's not full on, really soft.
I don't think you need a license and it is preferred that you know how to drive. Remember Reece didn't have a licence .
Canberra cruises normally meet there but sometimes there are random that know of that particular meeting point that cause trouble.
I doubt it would be SAU members. I've seen less than a handful of SAU members out there but most (can't say all ) are pretty friendly people.
Gasweld had one before, it would have been 3 years ago now... It was pretty pricey ($399 or something stupid) so I gave up and just drive my car only blocks now and use a $135 magic jack with a bolted arm. Those ones that have the arms that go in and out are really annoying for low cars.
You should always use jack stands or throw a wheel underneath the car.
I'm interested but I can't offer much due to the Japan Trip I've got coming up (somewhere abit above the halfway mark).
If you still have it after August, we can talk then about something higher.
I've gotten retread for my mates trailer from Advantage maybe called Central Tyre service in Fyshwick.
Re-treads are bad news tho. I think you are better off with cheap second hand tyres. What size are you after? I might have some here you can have.
Hey guys,
A group of drifters from Canberra traveled to Mallala to compete in the Drift Super Cup. A achievement in it's self as all of the cars were not running 1 week prior to the event.
Stephen's Sprinter was finished, tuned and over 20 tyres fitted on the night before we left.
After everything had been won and lost - ACT came home with the Drift State of Origin trophies!
Stephen Pembrey in his AE86 and Sam Pass in his R31 both compete in Pro Class.
The main event was won by Luke Fink in the Holfords S14.
Chris Sarah in his Nissan 180sx qualified 3rd Place in Street Class.
Many thanks to Federal Tyres and Autotech for their support.
Wow, that's a fair bit for the stuff your want done. Does that price include parts or labour only?
You could do almost everything except the major service yourself in half a day (a full day if your going slow).
Haha yeh, Mothers day is normally dead. Restaurants are packed including Maccas ???
I saw that S15, same kit as the Auto Salon/Industrie S15. Kit isn't bad but I felt colour choice let it down a bit.
Also, Wakefield is not a spectators track. Doesn't matter what you watch, it's difficult to be impressed unless there are near misses. You'll know once you get on the track.
Yeh, I went.
I think I was parked in the pits having lunch. I saw him drive away.
Only 10 cars in total. 3 Regulars and a DA driver from VIC. The rest were first timers.
I think you left too early. Christian De Jager linked the entire track in 3rd Gear. I don't think you realise how difficult a track it is to link drifting.
