  1. Drift Days at Wakefield are normally empty. I think there is normally about 60 spots available. Last time there was only 11 cars. With drifting, you only need a L2NS license. $45 cheaper than a L2S license .
  2. Wasn't too bad, Performance cars were having issues and kept coming off every couple of laps. High performance Low reliability. Chris looked like he was having fun, even after losing a Front wheel stud :S. Luke drove well, same with the White S15. James wasn't on the track very long when I was there. The White 300z was real heavy on the brakes into turn one. I could smell it always after he left the corner. Had a shiny engine bay tho. I forgot how quiet the track is when there is no drifting . Anyways:
  3. Just came back from Wakefield. Should include some Drift sessions, make it more interesting . May camera battery went flat, but I got a couple of pics, only 20 or so . I will upload it a bit later when the rechargable battery charges.
  4. Not sure if it's too late. I got 2 brand new Federals 595SS on a 17x8 rim (235/45r17). They cost $140 each - fitted and balanced. If your interested, send me an email to mizda_mazda@hotmail.com
  5. I couldn't bring BB guns back since 2001 (9/11). My mate went a few years before and got them through. You might try contact Top Secret before you go and tell them your coming. I think you would get a better reception. I did when I went to R31 House, they even came and picked me up for the Train Station, took me for a fang around the Boss's Car and back to the train station. I would imagine that Top Secret would get alot of international visitors due to it's popularity.
  6. If Okayama Circuit is at Okayama, it's a bit further west than what you think (west a couple hours from Osaka by bullet train). Oh, it's on Motoracing japan, there is a Google Map there... http://www.motoracing-japan.com/circuit/15_ti.html
  7. I'll probably leave around 8:30 from Tuggeranong and go out past Queanbeyan. Stay an hour or two and go home around 11-12ish.
  8. Yeh, only seats you can change to without a certificate is ones from the same model. So, GTR seats are okay! Depending on what type of seat(ADR approved or not) you get and the level of modification requires a different certificate. I think it'll be easy to get it certified if it is all ADR approved. That's my understanding anyway: http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/veh...on_3Feb2006.pdf
  9. I don't think it will make a good drift car, it has reliability issues. Show car and dyno car is better.
  10. I used to get HPI but now it's PI - I only get this for the Local Drift Content as Drift Battle went bust. I can't read much Japanese but i also get Japanese Option and Japanese Drift Tengoku. I'm surprised you didn't include Top Gear mag.
  11. I probably wont stay long, Wakefield is not a spectators track. Too much run off, not enough crashes .
  12. Yeh, I got the dates mixed up, it's the Sunday after (10th of May). I'm going to sleep in a bit and drive out a little bit later.
  13. I'll check out that place in Molonglo mall next time i'm in fyshwick. Gus, that will be much appreciated.
  14. WTF!!! They have one in Albury and not in Canberra, what a rip! Thanks for you info!
  15. Hey guys, Just wondering if any of you might know where I could get my camcorder repaired? Most retail shops I went to send it away, and put a charge ontop of the repair cost. I have a Panasonic GS250, it's a few years old but I want to use it for an external car camera once I get my new DV camcorder. I'm not sure what the problem is, it is chewing tapes. Some guys off the net reckon one of the arms is not pulling the tape tight around the head. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  16. I can't edit the first post. Movie starts at 9:30pm. Get there 9:00pm for tickets.
  17. This would be a practise day with timing. You can push your car as hard or soft as you want. If someone is hassling you, you could speak to the organiser, they'll probably be able to have a word with people (If it's like the track days i've been too). My car is never 100%, still got heaps of things on my to do list but practise one of the best things you can do. BTW, Circuit = Yawn, drifting = fun .
  18. 9:30pm, probably best to get there around 9pm. Tickets are $10. I thought people were going to complain.... Actually, just checked and there is a earlier 8:45pm session. I don't think it's a good idea to change time, just incase people don't see this thread.
  19. Wow, that's cool. How did you find out about these airfares? Were there any advertisement about it?
  20. I'm going to enter the next one, if it doesn't clash with anything else. Can't come to this one, Drifting is better .
  21. Hey mate, Just wondering if you are interested in Seperating the box?
  22. Actually, this could be on the 10th of May.......
