Can i have the radiator and tower brace?
-
I am bored..... Don't know what happened to Alan, but these things don't organise themselves. Initially this idea was proposed on the R31 Skyline Club forum. You guys must know how the two clubs don't really mingle and it might have even put some people off. Anyway, a new thread will probably be created once details are finalised.

Protest, but I would prefer in the bounds of the law, as annoying as possible. Like filling up the NCA's carpark so they can't park anywhere.... hehehe. -
Ida Drift Day, Wakefield Park - 15th Feb 2009
StinkyPoo replied to StinkyPoo's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Thought this would happen... ***IMPORTANT UPDATE*** Due to the lack of interest this day will now be a No Speed Limit Day and Drift Day. If you want to come for a thrash on the track you can pay on the day. -
I can have a look for you and install it if it's not installed properly. Won't take more than 10mins, unless you've done something funky. The last time I helped someone install one, they decided to install it on a line to the Carbon canister.

StinkyPoo replied to Michele's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Won't go to this one because it conflict with a Drift Day. I'll also make my car more identifiable so you won't get me confused with Reese - seeing how our driving is so similar. -
Hey guys, Entries for IDA Drift Day at Wakefield park is now open. The last few drift days have been lacking in numbers, meaning the club is losing money and makes it more difficult to hold more days. If your interested please follow this link to the IDA site: http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/view...f=16&t=7675 It is a Practise day and alot of people try drifting for the first time. ***** D-Day, Wakefield Park - 15th February 2009 Sorry guys but we had to pull the plug on the GP day, we want to be around next year to run more days so we couldn't gamble any more of the clubs money on people not showing up. This event will be a multiple car drift day on the North Circuit (Driftland) at Oran Park. Two different layouts will be run to cater to all skill levels. YOUR CAR WILL NEED TO PASS SCRUTINEERING - Working seatbelts or valid harnesses, properly installed seats, working brakes and brakelights, working windscreen wipers if it rains, all wheelnuts present and no leaks are the basics. Convertibles will not be allowed unless they have a rollcage that extends above the driver's head. Any questions, please ask or read the FAQ below. YOU WILL NEED AN AS1698 (that little red and silver sticker) APPROVED HELMET, LONG SLEEVES, PANTS AND CLOSED SHOES Please note that your car must have some sort of secondary bonnet restraint (bonnet catches, or a strap or cable of some type) and have all holes in the firewall and floor sealed up. A free sausage sizzle and drink will be provided for all drivers who enter. That doesn't include extra ones for your mates or girlfriend! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: --> Click here to read info about how our days work, scrutineering requirements etc. PRICES: Initial Drift Club Member: $150 Non-member: $180 Yearly Initial Drift Membership: $170 for the first year. Includes t-shirt, stickers, membership card and discounts on track day prices and free gate entry to most events. Available on the day. Get this if you intend to do a lot of track days. Gives you membership in a CAMS affiliated club and the ability to hold a CAMS L2NS licence, which is required for most of our events. No other benefits. Available on the day. Get this if you only intend to do a few days. You can upgrade at any time to a full membership CAMS L2NS licence: $48 Available on the day. Payable on the day. Wakefield Park License $50 (not accepted by other NSW circuits) NOTE: The CAMS licence is a once-yearly payment. After applying for one, you will eventually receive a licence in the mail that can be used at all of our events for one year. If you signed up for one last time and have not yet received it, please bring the tear-off bit you received. Spectators: $10 Here's how to work out how much it costs for you: If you're an Initial Drift member with a CAMS licence, it's $150 If you're not an Initial Drift member, but have a CAMS licence, it's $180 If you're an Initial Drift Associate Member with a CAMS licence, it's $180 If you want to join with a yearly Associate Membership it's $180 + $50 +$50 = $280 If you want to join with a yearly Full Membership, it's $150 + $170 +$50 = $370 If you have a Wakefield Park License it's $180 If you sign up for a Wakefield License it's $50 + $180 = $230 (Wakefield Park License are only valid at WP, if you are thinking of doing more drift days at other circuits, then the IDA options are best). **Please note that for this event, Wakefield Park Licenses will be available for purchase for $50. From Pete: For anyone interested(from sydney) on cruising down with us, we will be meeting at Camden Valley Way McDonalds at 6:30 and departing at 6:45. It is located right near the M5 and M7 intersection for those who are unsure where it is. From here we will be travelling down and stopping at the BP to top up on juice and then heading to the track which is only another 10 -15 minutes drive. When we get there, not much will be happening for the first 1hr to 1-1/2 so if you want to sleep in a little and come later then you won't miss out on too much. Please be aware that this is not a full tilt drift day, there will be stopages throughout the day for discussions with drivers and so on so don't be expecting too much. If you want to check out the track, then you are more then welcome to come. It will more then likely start around the normal start time of 9-930am and finish around the 4:30 mark. Here are the directions on how to get there. -

http://www.mdtc.com.au/directions/index.html Jerrara is not a very wide road, so be careful with opposing traffic. I'll try and look it up on Google later. -
Hey guys, IDA have organised to a "Test" Drift Day at the new Marulan Driver Training Centre, 31 Jan 2009. This day is being used as a trial for suitability for future drift days. Anyway, they have arrange for a few Drift Australia Drivers as well as some other experienced drivers to come and test out the Track. It looks like a very fun track and reminds me of some jap tracks. Myself and Quakin will be heading up on Saturday morning to have a look. I timed the Drive from Marulan to Civic yesterday and it was exactly a 1 hour drive.
