  1. Geez, that's nasty. It must have frozen over just after I pasted last night. I reckon you were goin quick tho , just from what i've seen and the road is 4 lanes across with an island! Anyways, bad luck dude, Chris always finds something.
  2. Ha, that's not so bad. It's my g/f b'day then. I'm SCREWED!!! That's why my name isn't on the list yet...
  3. KK, that's cool. Might be a couple more coming from sydney(sil80, R32, R33, R34). I'll try and get a msg to Long, I think he isn't on the list yet. Route is probably gonna be follow the leader. Looks like it'll be a good turnout, if everyone turns up.
  4. Nope, not necessary, just easier to communicate between cars rather than using mobiles.
  5. Oh yeh, forgot to mention. BRING YOUR CB Radio's. At the moment, looks like i'll need a ride(i got one planned, yet to ask).
  6. just a reminder for those who are thinking of driving fast on those awesome corners on Brindabella road
  7. Cruise, Code of Conduct, Taken from the R31 Club site... I don't think it's as strict, but it's a good base for guidelines.... Cruise Code of Conduct If you attend a cruise, you are automatically bound to these guidelines. To ensure the safety of club members and other road users, we are bringing into effect (and enforcing) a set of guidelines for safe and enjoyable cruising. Definition of CRUISE - to move about without precise destination; in motoring and aviation, to go at a normal operating speed, this does not mean a RACE or a chance to act in an illegal manner.. 1) Parking lights (during the day) should be turned on so that we can tell if you are with us, or if the Skyline/ Pintara ahead/behind is with the group or not. If you leave the cruise, turn your lights off so that people don’t follow you. 2) Do not pass the designated pace car. The pace car and the car at the back of the pack will be in constant radio contact in order to keep the group together. Do not speed to catch up to the front group of cars, they will wait. (Some states have smaller groups and may not have radios) 3) Members will not engage in behaviour that is in any way threatening or harmful to others. (In or out of the vehicles) 4) Burnouts or ‘accidental loss of traction’ will not be tolerated. (This includes gravel surfaces, which may cause damage to other peoples cars) 5) Dragging is strictly for the race-track 6) Members will obey road laws at all times. This includes: · Line markings, · Speed limits, · Traffic lights, · Pedestrian lights, · Boom gates, · Stop/ no U-turn /no right turn/ give-way signs etc. · Parking signs 7) If you are found to be acting in an unsafe manner, you will be warned. If you continue to behave in an unsafe manner, your actions will be noted and you will be asked to stop attending cruises, and your actions may be reported to the police. 8) Remember that if you have club stickers on your car, you are representing the club even when you are not participating in events, and are expected to conduct yourself in a safe and orderly manner at all times. If this is a problem for you, then please don’t wear club stickers. Any reports we receive from the general public of club members acting irresponsibly will be taken very seriously, and will be dealt with accordingly. ALSO.... I think we also change the food/beverage situation, something along the lines of designated food bringers, drink bringers, etc. And for the route, the long way is okay for me. I would like a few stops to take a few pictures and video footage(not sure if anyone agrees tho) I know some people are keen to hoon around(which is not a good idea) but I doubt it could be stopped. Those spirited people will lead and seperate when they feel the urge, the rest of us will cruise up at a more casual pace. I don't agree with this but I think there maybe less people inclined to join or feel pressured into some touge action. If people are really against this idea, we'll put some pansy at the front to set a steady pace. Need your input guys...
  8. Any suggestions for routes? Normally I just wing it and tell eveyone to follow.
  9. Yeh, the idea was not to invite other clubs, just maybe other people you would like to invite. It doesn't really make much difference tho, cos they're public roads. I don't really want to invite the police but if the group is big enough, some is bound to "invite" them. I would just rather you invite someone that you know won't be silly and tell them the cruise/event guildlines. Anyways, i don't think it's gonna be a big problem.

  11. Hehehe, that was just an example. I don't think you'd get much turn out for such a event at this short notice. Hmm, maybe it might work. I'll post a new thread up here and on the R31 site, i think we could make up numbers better.
  12. I'm booked and semi ready to go. Can't wait, it's gonna be HUGE.
  13. Nothing will get done unless someone organises something and sets a date. Just pick a day one month in advance and say were done x. Something like.... Cruise/BBQ Lunch - Sunday 25th June 2006 - Meet at Museum at 10:30am Post if your coming... Oh and if a few of you guys are keen, the R31 Guys are having a dyno day this Saturday. 14 cars are coming out of 15. In the morning we will be taking photos. Were meeting up at the bottom end of Anzac parade(where Canberra Cruises meet) at 10:00am, if you guys wanna meet up. Not sure how many ppl will turn up to that but yeh, it would probably be a good excuse for meeting up. EDIT: forgot to add, where doin the dyno at Autotek(???) the cost is/was $30 p/car, 2wd tho.
  14. Spotted a White 4 Door R32 at Erindale tonight, heading down Ashley Drive. Are ya on the forum??? Anyone know this car?
  15. Hey, I gotto get rid of a pair of R32 rear assemblies(i think that's what they're called). Basically, it's the axles, the upper and lower control arms, the drum hand brakes and hubs. Might come with discs, but I don't know, could get my hands on some to sweeten the deal. Anyways, it's at a mates house and he wants it gone. I have no idea what running condition they're in, but it is missing a few wheel studs. I'm after about $450 for the pair, but please feel free to make offers. I think the wreckers are asking for $880 for this setup. Please don't hesitate to pm me or send e-mails to [email protected]
  16. Hey buddy, where abouts in Sydney are you located?? Might come take a look see...
  17. Was it a 2 Door R31, next to a White 4 door Ausline? That woulda been a GTS Coupe, his name is Som.
  18. FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily LOL jk... But, anyways, I like those rims tho, wanna sell them seperately???
  19. Who has Gunmetal Aussie 4 door??? And why doesn't anyone spot me?? I try to get noticed
  20. Having 3 dogs is around another $500 a year for dog food alone. Plus medical fees if anything araises. I'm only working part time at the moment. I'm happy to look after it until you find a good home(less than 1 year is fine). If I win powerball this week I can look after it for a wee bit longer .
  21. Yeh, no worries mate. I've got 2 dogs already, happy to look after it if you don't find a home in time, but I can't keep it at this time in my life.
  22. I can look after the dog for alittle while if you want. RSPCA isn't that bad, I got my dog from there. Only problem is where the dog/pet is going to, so there is no way they're gonna get my bro's cat.
  23. I'm still in abit of trouble for buyin a intercooler instead of a valentines gift... It was a good thing I didn't come, from my health perspective .
  24. So... everyones piking... I might as well too then . Next week
