By saying you are using a bell mouth dump pipe you are essentially implying that you want the wastegate and the turbine exhaust exits from the turbo to be contained within the same inlet chamber of the dump pipe, right? Unlike the split where there is the two seperate paths. If so without the split i think you may be right, as the difference 1" vs 2" diameter can (and i emphasise can) make is a good point. The single exhaust chamber in the combined dump pipe, will ensure the pressures are equal!! Hope the change of dump pipe solves you problem, look forward to hearing the results.

Ok so im gonna throw an idea out there, feel free to shoot it down everyone!!! Instead of concentrating on the possibility of a "mechanical" restriction, is it possible that the soul source of power, i.e. the fuel, is being restricted??? Just seems strange that without any major internal restictions that the boost isnt steady. Trust me i know all about internal flow restrictions as i spent last year designing an intake system which had to pass all engine air through a 20mm circular restrictor (ahh good old Formula SAE ). I know how painful finding the right balance can be!!! Anywho, just a thought, maybe the injectors are clogged or shot, not enough "hot" exhuast gas to expnad to provide the boost level desired? Maybe its time for some Wynns Spitfire

Did the same thing a year or so ago now and i know how much it hurts. Id suggest getting the car to a mechanic or at least a wheel/suspension repairer as there can be some "unseen" problems. Essentially when i did it the damage was only minor but it still needed to be checked on a chassis aligner, which as one of the checks to make sure the chassis rails are still aligned. If the accident was low speed then you should be ok. Secondly i damaged my hub without knowing it and had to replace it. You will be suprised what a slow speed gutter collision will do!

Hi All, This may have been covered to death previously and if there is another thread please feel to direct me to it if this is true! I’m looking to get an idea from all the knowledgeable people out there as to how many parts such as panels and mechanical bits are interchangeable from R32 GTS-t's and GTR's? This has become apparent as I just had to replace a driver’s window in my GTS-t after an attempted theft, and I got it replaced with a GTR window. Are front guards a straight swap (my first guess says no seen as a GTR bar needs to be modified to fit a GTS-t!!!)? What has everyone else noticed? Cheers Laine

Personally i have no idea but mine is a 1989 R32 Gts-t and i needed a Zexel.

Just had my a/c compressor replaced this week and i got a replacement for a R32 Gts-t from Just Jap in Sydney for $295. They are not real cheap and second problem will be is what type you have. Turns out R32's were fitted with either a Calsonic or Zexel brand compressor and the only way i know of telling is to get the compressor off the car. Apparently its a fun job.... If it turns out to be a Zexel brand one, good luck getting one as i just spent a week searching different Aussie import wreckers to find one and Just Jap gave me their last one! I hope for your sake its a Calsonic!! Regards Laine

Rims are buckled mate. I actually bought them off you last year. I put my car into a gutter at a fairly low speed and managed to shag a rim. The otherone isnt to crash hot either, had them checked out at Queanbeyan and apparently the centres are offset. So if u want the rims u can have em but they are screwed. Width is 18x8 i think, cant remember exactly. I have already sold the rears to a guy in sydney as he had a similiar problem to me.
