Hi All, I have for sale 2 x Falken 235/40ZR18 tyres, which have 90% tread left on them. They do have a couple of minor scuff marks but are still in good condition and are fine for everyday use. Reason or selling is as i no longer have a set of rims to put them on!! They are pictured below on a set of Volks which they are currently on but the rims are buggered and cant be fixed, so i will have them removed from them before sale. Asking price is $200 for them both, + postage if you need it.

Just wondering what colour the R32 is mate? Cheers Laine -
Amen I agree, I don't normally jump into discussions such as this but after losing my license myself for speeding I do personally understand the implications of speeding. Yes in majority we do all speed occasionally but think about where and when you are doing it. I personally am a big advocate of 40 km/h school zones (even though I do not believe this is the crux of this thread) as they actually have a proper aim. 50 km/h zones yes do suck and are both annoying and often inappropriate, but hey that's the rules. In the last year I have been privileged enough to receive driver training in a competitive racing team and this has taught me so much about driving and the limits of a particular vehicle system. Sorry if this sounds self righteous but I can only relate to what I know. Believe it or not, in even the most controlled environment it is easy to come unstuck and end up in a situation that can jeopardize all those around you. Do a motorcycle learners course and you will not beleive the things you will learn about road awareness and irresponsible drivers. The last few years have taught me a lot. I have lost friends to vehicle accidents and met people who are crippled from them. Sorry to preach to you all as I am sure you are, in majority, a more experienced drive than me. Keep racing to the track and think about what you are doing before you do it. We aren't all privileged enough to be as good as Michael Schumacher or Sebastian Loeb.....

Fs: Volk Challenege F-zero

Allright lets try $700 + postage Any takers? -
Hi All, I have for sale a set of 18 inch Volk Challenge F-Zero rims. The front rims are 18x8, +32 offset, but are busted. The centre spokes of the rims are bent and i have had them checked by a tyre shop who said they cannot be repaired. The do however have a good set of Falken 235/40Z8 tyres on them with 80%+ wear left on them. The rear rims are 18x9 with +40 offset and are in good condition aside from some gutter rash as depictied in the pictures below. The tyres on this set are fairly worn and are down to their indicators. The reason for sale is as i cant seem to get my hands on a replacement set of two yet and i need some cash now if possible. Asking price is $800 + postage My locations is in Canberra however i am happy to freight Australia wide at the buyers expense. Feel free to PM me with any questions or specific pictures you may want. Japanese Tuner: Decide 226
nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh i gave it a crack and came up with pretty much the same as you got by the look of it. Mine doesnt have the gucci sticker though it just has Decide 226 in black letters. Im guessing the may have done some work on it a while back. Cheers -
Hi all, Just wodering if anyone has heard of the japanese tuning company Decide 226 before? I have their name written on my ECU in my R32 Gts-t i imported. Now i have discovered their website which can be found at: Decide 226 Homepage Im guessing they may have done some work on my ECU, possibly even changed it but it still looks pretty standard to me. Car runs normal and i had to cut the limiter if i want to get it over 180 (not that id do i on the road of course, track only ). Anyway if anyone can decipher the japanese for me and see what they have to say about their ECU work it would be appreciated. Cheers Laine

nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh i agree thats not too bad acutally. Seen as i would be looking at using it on an RB20 i would be looking at the smaller version, i.e. not the 480, i think its the 440? And guys theres no need to argue, were all friends right? ......right -

Kkr Turbos: Anyone Know Much About Them?
nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh ive been hearing a bit of both in regards to the response of them. I have heard they can be a bit laggy but as yet no one can actualy confirm. Some people have said they go alright so i guess anyone out there who has ACTUALLY seen one installed and seen how it goes, help us!! Cheers for the info scott, i think most of that came through in the latet HPI too so im interested to see the final results of that install after its been tuned. Regards Laine -
Kkr Turbos: Anyone Know Much About Them?
nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Just checked the pipes and found the culprit. Stupid hose clamp was loose and the rubber sleeve connecting the pipes needed to be moved to make the pipes sit better and let the clamp actually clamp! Still interested in the KKR turbos though cause my turbo is on its way out. (Overboosted in Japan before getting it here) Cheers -
Kkr Turbos: Anyone Know Much About Them?
nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh im about to go and check all the pipes and make sure they are tight enough. General inspection didnt find anything though. -
Hi all, Just curious as to know what people have actually experienced with the KKR turbos that HPI are advertising on behalf of Otomoto? I have read somewhere that Otomoto is run by Ben Ellis the editor of HPI so they may be a bit biased towards the outcome, if this info is true. Either way i like their price of around $900 new so i thought id throw it out there to see what people may know. Basically i want to know as i may need to replace the trubo in my car (R32 Gts-t) as i think it blew up on me yesterday. Cars blowing some black smoke and runs like an absolute dog on boost. Splutters and stalls, wont hold boost and idles badly. Anyway if i do need a replacement i was thinking of buying new instead of the usual second hand R32 or R33 turbos, but without going over the top and buying a turbo that would require other replacemnt parts such as fuel pump etc. Cant afford to do all that just yet!! Anyway any help would be appreicated, Cheers Laine

Yeh i dont think ill be replacing them any time soon, pretty hard to find a spare set of 2 floating around anywhere.

I did exactly the same thing about a month and a half ago so i know the feeling!!!! Gutter + locked brakes = nasty mess The aftermath of mine was broken radius rod, bent control arm and damaged hub. Also had to replace the main strut and upper conrol arm also. Some of my rubbers where still ok but the one in the radius rod was egg shaped and had to be replaced also. Both my month old Volk F-Zero rims are now buckled beyond repair. External panel damage included a busted front guard and side skirt, plus some minor damage to my front bar. Total cost to fix the car will eventually be a little over $1000. Car pulled severely to the left as that was the side i hit mostly with. I suggest you get all the parts replaced as you can never really tell what is broken until you get the whole thing on a chassis alinger. It turns out one of my main rails is pushed back slightly too but nothing too serious and it drives fine now. Just did over a 1000km on the highway in it with no probs. Dunno if this helps but i thought id let you know how came out of it.

Car Sounds Like A Wrx, Guzzles Fuel!
nissan_gtr35 replied to nissan_gtr35's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh car type would be handy hey!! R32 Gts-t it is! -
Hi All, Im having some isues with my car currently and i was after some advice. The problems i am having are as follows: 1. Fuel Pump is making an audible whirring noise and has done for some time 2. Car is guzzling fuel even on the highway (best i got was about 12L/100km over a 1000km stint and it was reasonably hot day at about 35 deg) 3. The exhaust note of the car has changed significantly recently and it now burbles alot like a WRX does. Car type: R32 gts-t Current mods include: pod filter, BOV, hybrid intercooler. Still running standard turbo/boost. I have a sneaking suspision that my fuel pump is somewhat shagged but i was hoping that someone out there might have experienced something similiar and can lead me to the exact problem. Cheers Laine
