Whoops yeh i c what you mean i sorta rushed those numbers i put up without thinking. Ill get the proper offset asap and ill put a couple of pics up too. I agree i think im gonna be strugglng to find a set to replace them but i can only but try. I do have the 18x9J ones for the rear and the ones im after are for the front. Cheers

Hi All, Trying to find out if anyone out there has a pair of 18 x 8.0 volk f-zero's floating around anywhere and would be willing to sell them. Hi All, Think ive asked this question previously however i will ask again. I have a bit of a problem with two of my rims, they are apparently buckeld after i had a run in with a gutter when my car decided to understeer. I have been told it may be possible to fix them and i was wondering what the name of the place in qeanbeyan was that might be able to help me. I think you guys said it was The Wheel Factory, this right? Anyone done anything similiar and have an idea of what prices for such a repair might be? Cheers Laine

Bumpity bump PRICE DROP $850!! Got some more pics now. Tyres have apporx 80-90% tread remaining Sizes are now confirmed at 225/45 fronts and 255/40 rears. Fronts have a fair few gutter scapes, rears are not nearly as bad. Any questions send them my way, details are still as previous post

For Sale a set of 4 Work 17" rims, which are in a less than pristine condition, with Federal tyres all round in near new condtion. Fronts are 235/40 and rear are 255/40 (i have to confirm these sizes). Looking at $1000 for the lot mainly to cover the cost of the tyres. Selling them as i have new rims!! I would prefer a Canberra buyer, however if someone is realy keen i can look at interstate but postage will be extra. If anyone is desperate and wants to go in my beast im more than happy. CHeck the pics for a better look if u wish. Id be willing to do it for $20 and im sure my mate who has a car very similiar to mine (i.e. stock!) would be available too if u like. Anyway mines got a GTR kit minus rear spoiler, gold alloys (bit tatty), ok sound system, lowered and should have tinted windows and a front mount cooler by the time its needed!

Yeh sorry forgot to mention that i had posed this question in a previous post. The controller is causing problems at all levels of boost including the lowest setting of 0.8 kg/cm^3. I also had the car fully serviced about 5 months ago but there may be a need to change the fuel filter again. Regards Laine

Hi guys, Im still looking at a possible solution to my turbo surging problem when i use my boost controller. So far i have the possibilities of spark plugs being rooted and boost controller duty cycle solenoid on max. Ill be checking the plugs this weekend however i have another theory......... I have noticed recently that it could stem from my fuel pump. Now my fuel pump constantly makes a straining like noise to which my mate told me that he thought the pump was an aftermarket one, however im not too sure as the car is an import and there was no record of sach a mod. Could this noise be a sign that the pump is shagged and that as soon as i try higher boost it cant supply enough fuel? Any help would be appreciated! Laine

Ah ok, well i had the car fully serviced about 2 months ago, however I think i better check the plugs and make sure they are ok. And yeh ill have a look at the solenoid duty cycle but not being much of an expert on that stuff i cant say ill have much luck! Howdy Yall, Wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what the asnwer to the following problem might be. I have an '89 R32 Gts-t with HKS exhaust, apexi airpod, HKS EVC III, Blitz Turbo Timer and pretty much standard everything else engine wise. Now my problem revolves around the use of the EVC. When i run the car on stock boost (ie boost controller on monitor only) it works beautifully however when i turn the boost controller on it does the exact opposite of what it should, that is control the boost levels. If i set the boost at a modest 0.80 kg/cm^2, my turbo timer tells me that it is peaking at around 0.9 kg/cm^2 and above in some cases. If i set it at 0.85 kg/cm^2 it peaks at over 1.0 kg/cm^2 according to the timer and when it is on boost the turbo keeps surging. Basically the power to the wheels will rise and then drop off a bit, rise and drop off a bit and so on. Since this has happened ive kept the controller off so as to not do any damage to the car till i can get it working properly. Not sure if it might be dodgy wiring, broken connection or what, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Laine

Yeh thanks guys ill give them a call when i can get some cash together. Nah sorry wasnt my car either, ive kept it off the back of any trucks thank god even though at some stage i had a bung starter motor and a screwed ignition lock. Where abouts do you guys normally head on tuesday/fridays then? Im pretty busy with uni and sport at the moment but i might make an appearance this Friday all being well. Could have been me in dickson, spent plenty of time out there at the inspection station!! Yeh and distance defineitely makes the car look better, paint needs some polish after 15 years and spending nearly 3 months at the docks in japan.
