Howdy everyone, Thought id make myslef known as i recently after many many months of blood, sweat and tears i have managed to get my beast on the road! The names Laine and i am a proud owner of a Black R32 Gts-t that i imported through prestige motorsport. Id just like to add that geoff at prestige is a top bloke and helped me every step of the way as im sure alot of people out there already know. Anyway as a lot of you have experieinced Dicskon Inspection station is possibly the worst place in the world to get your car inspected. Took me three goes before i got cleared, and it cost me over $1000 in parts to make them happy. I understand alot of the things needed replacing to make it roadworthy but each time i went there they would find something that they didnt the previous time which was infuriating to say the least!! But its done know so if you a Black Gts-t with gold Work alloys, a gtr kit minus rear spoiler cruising round with a lanky bloke driving give us a wave! One question though, my mags have seen better days in the paintwork department and i was wondering if it is viable to get them repainted and cleaned up or is it cheaper to buy new ones. If it is viable who around Canberra does that sort of thing? Well i look forward to many years of Skyline enjoyment and hopefully ill see some of you guys cruising round at some time. Ill probably throw up a post every now and again when i get some mods done, but for now i have to pay off the bills of getting the car registered!!! Cya'll later

Howdy all, I have a bit of a dilemma today as the barrel in my ignition lock seems to have gone and i cant turn the ignition at all. Does anyone know how to unlock the locking mechanism in the steering column of an R32 GTS-t? Im going to get a locksmith to come out and look at it if i cant get it fixed myself but id like to save the cash if i can. I had to hotwire my ignition to close my windows and sunroof after the bugger locked up......dodgy to say the least!!! Cheers

Yeh thanks mate, its already hitting the back pocket a bit but i expected that. About the gasket, its pretty bad. It makes a real loud screaming noise when the turbo comes onto boost. It defintely needs to be fixed as its screwing up the max boost point. At the moment it doesnt reach max boost till about 5000 rpm which sucks. The ECU bit is what i thought just some crazy japanese thing probably. Gotta have a bit more of a look at the starting problem too. Thanks for your help anyway.

Gday All, Well the time has finally arrived, I picked up my R32 GTS-t on Tuesday from Sydeny and got to give her a nice old run back to Canberra. Must say im pretty happy with it so far even though shes a bit rough around the edges. I have a few questions for you knowledgable minds and hopefully theres someone out there who can help me. First one is to do with something i found printed on my ECU. There the words and numbers "Decide 226" printed on it and i have no idea what its meant to mean?!? Anyone got an idea? Secondly I have a leaking exhasut gasket which im looking at replacing myself. Anyone have any advice in regards to this? i.e. should i even bother, is it gonna save me some cash, is it a bitch of a job etc. I did just pick myself up a copy of he engine workshop manual off ebay for $15 on cd so im hoping that will be of a help. I was informed by Southside Performance Imports in Sydney that i could manage it myself, even though it wil require removing the turbo, sound about right? Lastly im currently having an issue with starting it, this being that it wont start since yesterday arvo. I turn the ignition and try and start it and it wont even turn over, it just does nothing. However all my electrics are still working including turbo timer, boost controller even the Air Con. Im a bit baffled by this one and im positive it isnt the battery as its brand spanking new last week. Anyway this is my first post and it a sorta big one so i hope you all made it this far. Any help on any of these would be great, cheers.
