So if it was set to say, 12 degrees, is there any chance that that would end up in a very very lean torque curve, with a very linear power curve, yet resulting in still a reasonable about of top end?
If the timing was retarded a few degrees, 2 or 3 or 5, BELOW the stock setting, what would be the effect on an rb20 (with fmic, 320hp turbo etc).
What would the effect on the cars peak power, power curve and driveability be?
Hey guys
I have a rb20 silvia
Its been running fine for ages
But recently (2 or 3 days ago) it started idling really high
Roughly 1,500rpm, even after its warmed up
Other than that its still running fine, making normal power etc.
Any ideas on what it might be?
I havnt done any real changes to the car latley
