Ok, I suspect the answers to these are deep within the forums somewhere, so please take pity on my busyness/lazyness and help me out with three simple questions. Im planning to boost my R33. 1, What is the max pressure I can safely boost my R33 RB25DET? 2, At what boost level should I expect fuel cut to kick in? (ie, without a fuel cut defender, how high can I go without trouble?) 3, What power increase should I see (before and after approximate power if you know). and (4) anything else to consider ? My car is a manual turbo R33 RB25DET with pod filter, turbo back exhaust and R34 intercooler. thanks heaps

OK, so I live in Japan with my R33 and will be importing it to aus in a few months as a personal import. Regarding tires, is it compulsary to change tires for compliance, or is it just the rule that tires must be DOT complaint? I ask because the tires I have on the car already have DOT stamped onto the sidewall, so I wanna know if I can just keep the car on these when I register in Aus (or more accurately buy new ones here cheaply) Please reply only if you have ACTUAL EXPERINCE with this! I appreciate the help, but hear-say and opinions mean nothing when it comes to stuff like this. thanks

So I was having a little trouble with my bonnet latch catching and not unhooking first go each time I try. So on advice from SAU members, i cleaned it up and now it works like new: great! Bad news is that now the boot lever wont open the boot when I pull it. It still feels like normal so im sure the wire hasnt snapped, but it wont open and I have to do it with the key. I tried cleaning it in a similar way to the bonnet latch but this did nothing. Has this happened to you? How did you fix it? ideas?

Thats right, lets make a list of R33 GTR parts that will straight fit the ECR33 GTS-T. Anything interesting or that could be of use, so cool stuff like turbos or catylisers, and understanted things like gear knobs or powersteering pumps etc So yep, this questions has an emphasis on which OEM parts can be retrofitted to the GTSt

update, its wasnt the weathering strip, or not that i could tell. I tested the boot by pouring water over various parts of it repeatedly, and foud water entering from 4 + parts, including some seams of metal panles. I puit leftover sealent stuff there, but annoyingly there are still decent leaks which somehow let water get in on the L and R sides of the boot. Dispite all my testing, i have noidea how the funk this gets in the boot, its crazy. Currently im fed up and have given up, and with the weather getting cold over here, i dont know when i will get to attempt to check more stuff. Im wondering weather the boot rubber seal is somehow letting it it, but thats just a last ditch guess. this sucks

Im considering getting modified Knuckles as well as lower control arms which are lengthened by 2cm. Im wondering, do i need to modify anything else to get it to fit. It seems that if i move a suspension component 2cm outward, shouldnt that mean that other parts wont line up? Any other considerations or hidden costs etc when doing this modification? FYI Im also ordering Kazama tension rods which will give more clearnace if im really cranking the steering angle. thanks

Does anyone know, when fitting clear side indicator lenses to an R33, do you have to remove the whole quater panel to fit them or do they somehow easily pop out?

Got for sale a super rare NISMO pinstipe sticker kit. How rare? Have a look at the design of the box and logos. This is from the OLD nismo design which was changed over in 1997. So this kit is at a minimum 14 years old and is unused and in very good condition. If you want a unique item to ice off your Nissan, you won't get much rarer than this. Even finding references to it on the internet will bring you next to no results. This is one of those once-a-year finds which you are very unlikely to come accross again.
