Well very funny you say that Beer Baron! I have been away for the new year etc etc... and am quite lazy I had a discussion with the lovely gentleman from Audi... He actually didn't really seem to pick me as a tyre kicker or anything he was more than happy to help out... However, just to really put a dampener on things the guy said that the only test vehicle anywhere near Australia is in NZ at the moment!!! Which makes it kind of hard to get to from Vic Farrrrk!!!!! I did manage to get a full tour of a left hand drive one though!!! Absolutely wicked car everything is just right (Was the clutchless manual:( though much prefer the real deal) Bang & Olufsen stereo... who would need one of those with that awesome sounding engine? Ohh well onto bigger and better things I guess... anyone know where I can find an Enzo (Joke)

That would be awesome if I was in NSW but im in VIC If I break it then tough luck, thats what their insurance covers! I really don't think they can ask for your finances... unless your willing to give it to them. What about all the guys who don't have credit cards i.e. drug dealers etc I'll stick with that... dangerous daveo They cant do a credit check without me signing something... trust me I work in finance. Either way a credit check tells nothing other than if you have any defaults/judgements/bankruptcies or enquiries to financial institutions. They don't actually have your current loans, just who you have applied to etc I haven't driven a boxter... yet it would take plenty to convince me they ares crap! Well watch this space because either way its going to be a funny story! I can it going either "they told me to try and fit my fist into my ass before I can drive it" OR "I can't believe they let me drive it" Hahahaha I need to sleep more

I'm glad nobody told me not to do it I thought this would be a nice challenge for myself I was thinking of taking like $5k+ in cash and not offering it as a deposit straight away... yet if they tried to push me back as if to say go home kid... I could just flash it and see how it goes. It would totally be worth it to get the money outta the bank if it gets me a drive. Just so long as they give it back!!! Yeah definitely wear a suit. No problem there as I wear one to work each day, that parts easy. I was thinking of borrowing my brother in laws Volvo XC90 (With baby seats) and telling the guy that I need a weekend cruiser. Hello all, Just surfing through Audi's web page and came across the test drive page... and noticed that the R8 is an option. Wondering what would you need to do in order to get the test drive. Surely you couldn't just rock up, flog it and then say "I don't like the colour" Not looking for smart arse remarks like "buy it" or "pay a $50k deposit" because thats not going to help is it now! Hoping that some of the lucky members of this forum who own exotics or have driven them in the past could shed some light on the requirments. i.e. some of the questions they will ask. What they will want to see etc Appreciate the responses and like I said try and make it constructive!!! Cheers,

gts-4 dreamer... I'm really not sure what happend to you or the S15... Hey GTST, don't you find you get a better result when the room temp is around the 83.25 C mark. I find that with 80 it really doesn't do the car justice. I actually disassemble the entire engine and soak it in alaskan mountain goat blood before I drive it... whatever works for you I guess.

Well not sure bout you but I generally don't stick anything to my dash and or doors... I didn't spray it onto any paint either... What do you use to clean interior then?

Hey guys and gals, Have just cleaned the interior of my car, I bought some dash cleaner that said it gave shine but I wasnt happy with the end result so I sprayed some Silicone spray... WOW this looks awesome. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this instead of your conventional dash cleaners. Or some of the other cleaners you use and were happy/unhappy with. Oh btw I didn't spray the steering wheel or anything that gets touched regularly as it gets slippery. Any thoughts?
