Hey guys I have managed to find a guy who said he would fit the window for $50. He is a legit business in Yellow pages. Just wondering if there is any risk in getting it done so cheap (Apart from the obvious being the window falling out!) Any opinions?

Well don't be mislead by the heading sarcasm is a good vent... I parked at Glenhuntly station and have done so for about 2 years with no issues. So I get to my car today after work and find this! They didn't steal anything or scratch the car (Feeeew) just broke the rear window... Now I need some help I have done some searching and Nissan are quoting about $1k for a new one Does anyone have one in Melb 2nd hand or know someone who can get one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can post/PM or call 0422 206 869 Neways I wouldn't wish this on anyone... it just makes me ill that people do not respect other peoples property - I work damn hard just to get the car to where I want it then they just smash it for no apparent reason other then to be a hindrance! Good thing I didn't see who did it... Cheers, Steve

Good question, I have never weighed them. In comparison I have just bought some Drifteks and they are comparible if that helps and for a 17 thats quite light. -

All good thought lads, I have a 32 with the same issues however I can count the fuel pump out as I have a brand new one and AFM Something that hasnt been raised yet is the cold start idle valve.... Just a question: When your cars eventually start do they idle up around 1.5-2k for a minute or so or do they go straight to the 1k or there abouts? The cold start thing is a mechanism that works like a line that gets blocked once the car is warm. When the car is cold the line is open to give more revs to start the car... when the car is warm the line closes. When you start the car it should idle high for a little while... when I first bought my car the idle was at about 2k constatntly and it was due to the cold start valve being constantly open making the car think it had just started all the time. When this item is faulty or old as most are the heat sensor no longer works and the valve does not close and bring the idle down. It goes both ways when they are buggered they can be open (high idle all the time) or closed (normal idle all the time causing hard cold starts). My suggestion is that the cold start thing is constantly closed making the car think it is constantly warm already... and therefore not giving the intial revs to bring the car to life so to speak. The cold start is located (looking at the car head on) on the left hand side of the engine bay below the intake manifold. Any thoughts...

Hey All, I have a set of 17x8 wheels for sale. They came off my R32 GTS-t and are 5 stud. I am unsure of the offsets, but they cleared the brakes no worries. The front tyres are 225/45/R17 Yokohama C-Drives with about 80% tread (Awesome Tyre!) and the rear are 235/45/R17 Continental ContiProContact again about 80% tread left They are only about 12 months old and have no gutter rash. Looking for around $590 for the lot O.N.O Any questions just PM or Call 0422 206 869 I'm located in VIC 3162 and would prefer pick up or freight paid at buyers expense Cheers, Steve

Wow 1200 is good. How long has it taken you to prep the car? I have a friend who I can do the prep work with as he used to be a painter sadly he has no connections left Maybe I should do it that way... I'm not wanting the engine bay to be sprayed as the colour will be the same if not very similar so no real gain there.

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone has had a genral respray... i.e. same colour and just cleaned the whole car up? Im in Melb and have been quoted anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000+ for a same colour spray. I have a black 32 and wouldnt mind going to a midnight purple or something like that. Any ideas on cost or if anyone on the forums paints as a hobby... Cheers,

Hey mate, Was for a 32 just sold it sorry. -
Hi all, As the topic says, I'm cleaning out some things from the garage. All the items are brand new. I'm located in Melbourne and would prefer pick up especially for the clutch and tyres, the gauges can be posted at buyers expense. The following are brand new still boxed and never used as I no longer need them: 1. 2x Continental ContiProContact Tyres 235/45/R17 - I was told 235's fit all round 32's they DON'T only at the rear. So they have only been driven on for maybe 4kms the tyre shop wouldn't take them back - long story! They still have the little pointy things on the sidewalls! $325 for the pair. 2. 1x Drift Oil Pressure Guage & 1x Drift Oil Temp guage. These are also brand new (See price!). They are the black face when off and they have a white light when you start the car looks awesome. Asking for $85 each or $160 for the pair 3. 1x Excedy clutch kit. SOLD Thats all for now, any troubles please don't hesitate to PM me or call on 0422206869. I can't get on the forums at work so please be patient if you PM or just call my mobile. Thanks, Steve
