  1. No you can’t, only on a 32 aftermarket ecu is the solution

  9. I don’t have the car or the sump, my aim is to get my shed built and then get the car in there and start working on it again
  10. All I could get was it was leaking and they resealed it.
  11. Ok it amazing how much things can change in the space of 2 days. the shed is at the point where all I need to do is organize the concreter to do his thing and it’s off and running with the engine
  12. My guess is this has been painted an aftermarket colour and had a plate made up with the new paint code

Isn’t really much to update, the shed I’ve been trying to get the slab down but the certifier keep finding hoops for me to jump through, I’m hoping I’m somewhere near close now. the car I haven’t seen since November, the engine isn’t back yet and either is the sump. I’ve already written off gtr fest and am starting to doubt I’ll make any other event this year

  17. Ive been looking into these seats my self, I had a focus rs that came factory with them factory and they were so comfortable
  18. What usmair is saying is the os will hold the power, it just won’t take the abuse of riding it the hell out of it on the starting line. Watch some of RHMs video on YouTube and the way he rides the clutch is brutal
  19. I went up to a 6870 im hoping I won’t regret it the machine shop/engine builder has it at the moment, I don’t know the exact details of what happened apart from water was getting into the oil and after they did a pressure test it was coming from behind a sleeve
  20. No it’s not running yet, I got it running briefly and something was wrong with the block, I don’t know what it was and I haven’t got it back yet

Basically slowly kept modifying a standard engine and ended up with a 6466 on it and then ended up with coolant spraying out of the over flow bottle on boost, thought it had just lifted the head and was going to throw a 2.8 kit into the factory block and keep going. Got the head off and found the block was cracked in 4 spots (3 in the deck and one in the side) and because I already had the 2.8 kit I bought a billet block for that to go into.
  22. I’ve said a few times if I was starting again I’d go 3.2, but I had the stoker kit before I knew about the block being stuffed
