  1. They sell a header tank separately, I don’t understand why it’s separate considering you can’t fill the radiator without it
  2. Vega auto sports and kudos motor sports, each one were cheaper on different rubbers and I went that way
  3. interior is now complete and cleaned first time in 2 and a half years I’ve been able to sit in it
  4. I decided to replace all the door trims and rubbers here’s a few comparisons of new vs old and all of the old bit in a pile Sometimes you don’t realize how stuffed parts really are until you replace them
  5. The main thing I want it to tell me is the oil temperature, I’ve got few pages in it to see other things as well
  6. Only thing I’ll be looking for is the shift lights
  7. That what the haltech gauge and engine protection is for, let’s be real you have have the fanciest dash in the world but it’s not going to help at 8,500 when youre pulling the next gear.
  8. I love your dash and if I could convince the mrs to let me spend the money I’d have one without a second thought
  9. Due to the fact I’m still running the original dash I thought better add something that quickly tells me the information the ecu has available I replaced the boost gauge with a haltech can gauge and found a pod that fits it. The readings are all over the place at the moment because the engine bay wiring still isn’t done
  10. more genuine parts, these hold the base of the rear seat in and due to the seat having come out so many times the old one were pretty ordinary. and the rear seat is in and it’s really starting to look like a car again
  11. They’re running the full race controller and have more clutches in the transfer which is what most of us do
  12. Are you taking the piss?
  13. There’s only one person that says they snap cams and he’s the biggest troll on YouTube, they won’t spin a bearing unless your tune is junk or you try and track it with a factory sump
  14. you won’t because these engines last forever at factory power
  15. It’s getting there, since getting back I’ve spent every minute on it I can
  16. You’ll never build a car that makes enough power to out flow the stock injectors let alone need a block. Like piggaz and usmair said, these are toys, they aren’t daily’s! We aren’t using them to take grandma to bingo! Having to warm an engine up that cost over 50k to build is a very small price to pay
  17. Japan was awesome, such a beautiful country. I went to the Nissan heritage collection. I rented an sti and drove the skyline road in hakone with it which was a lot of fun. Did the usual up garage visit and nismo omori visit as well. Apart from that it was a lot of site seeing and taking in the history of japan
  18. After spending 3 weeks in Japan I finally came home and got to play with the gtr again, today I wired the 3 pedals to the ecu, wired the power steering pump and set up the over ride button. Also put all the carpet back in place. Finally ready to start putting seats and etc back in IMG_9661.mov
  19. Was nice having someone buy me a drink just because I owned a gtr
  20. My god going from 28° day to wake up to 1° over night is very hard
  21. There’s still a lot of work to go into that job, it won’t look anything like that when it’s finished
  22. I’m pretty sure that plug is the same as the r33 which is also used by subaru and some ford models, I can double check when I get home tomorrow
  23. 2 cars out of all the cars that were brought in don’t have the issue? Still seen plenty of 25s crush bearings without many modifications
  24. The Aussie delivered ones do, the imports don’t. There was a time when everyone used to throw an exhaust on them pull the restrictor out and then the engine let go in 6 month, s13s were prone to it as well
