  2. if your in sydney sas for sure they did the standard ecu in my gtr and cant rate them high enough
  3. i think i will go, might even enter my car, see how i feel at the time
  4. i have changed turbos on a gtr many times before and its not worth the headache of putting on rebuilt ones in case somthing goes wrong id just be fitting a brand new set of garretts or hks items and being done with it

  6. the shaft isnt to bad, might even get it under warrenty (porsche will warrent you after track use) the 997 wont be cheap as it set of the air bag in the passanger door
  7. the cars that hit on saturday where a black 997 gt3 (street car) a red mx5 new shape and a 944 was the massive hit where he knocked himself out and from what i heard they had to cut the car open to get him out and on sunday bruce hibbard broke a right hand drive shaft in his gt2 unfortunatly i forgot my camera and dont have any photos of the event at all kevin whiteheads 94 gtr is actually a blue r32 gtr
  8. i know most of the porsche guys and was up there last weekend the guys in the porsches paid my accomodation (thanx guys) anthony and bruce are both very very good drivers and bruce is the funnest bloke u will ever meet it was an awsome weekend even if i didnt get to have a drive who had the grey gtr?
  9. if it was me the hks 2.8l kit would be the way to go, every hybrid rb30 ive seen in a gtr has been a disaster they usualy foul on everything and have oil issues and alot of them leak oil because of the spacer block for the sump just my 2 cents thanx brett
  10. i noramall put the car in gear with the hand brake up and some pushing the brake when i do them up never had one com lose doing it that way
  11. silverwater automotive services (sas) did my 32 gtr and the result was great it was so long ago that i cant remember the price though
  12. rb30 power we wont see Variable geometry turbos on anything petrol, expcept in a prosche because porsche have patend their design unfortunatly brett
  13. rods and pistons in the bottom r always a good idea metal head gasket and some head and main stud for insurance (bearing aswell of corse) top end cams and valve springs and a genral check up maybe some porting depending on ur budget the best way to get ur turbo onto boost sooner is a 3Ltr bottom end or change the exhuast housing on the turbo i have never had a problem with microtech but wolf3d if a better option hope some of this helps
  14. sounds like coils r starting to go on it, mine did that same thing, i regapped the plugs and it worked for 3 weeks til i had to bite the bullet and buy some splitfire coils
  15. could try felt tape under the panels they r making the noise, if its good enough for porsche, its good enough for a skyline

  18. i havnt personally but my friend had his s13 fitted with a wide body kit and front and rear bars by peter his work is unbeleivable, i couldnt rate the way that car looked any higher couldnt even see where the car ended and the gaurd started, it looked factory brett

  23. and bi metal fly wheels r the worst for doing this (alloy flywheel and steel ring gear) and the diffrent expantion rates between the 2 metals corses the metals to put more pressure on each other and eventually something has to give brett
