  2. Hey all! Time for a Putty Rd cruise! For those that havnt been before, its a nice social cruise and the pub at the end has steaks and beers. What more could you want?! For those that have been before, you'll know how nice the road is and how damn refreshing the beers are at the end Date: Sunday the 31st july, 2011 (yes the 7th day for all you 31 owners out there) Meet location: Percival St carpark, Clarendon. (Map below) Meet time: 10am for a 1030am SHARP departure Destination: IMPERIAL HOTEL, 183-185 John Street, Singleton, TURN RIGHT JUST AFTER HUNTER STREET FOR THE REAR CAR PARK. Route: Putty road!!! Bring a full tank of petrol to the start point, there are no petrol stations/stops until Singleton. 2. Only place for 98 Octane fuel in Singleton is BP 53 George St, Singleton. They're open on Sundays. 3. This will go ahead if raining, although if hail is forecast check this thread on the day to check (just incase) if its been called off.   8. just take the patrol shell off and put a r34 GTR shell in its place, now that would be unique. an R34 GTR 4WD.
  9. i made this for my 31, although i dont run the standard latch i have bonnet pins its made out of 3mm stainless but if anyone wants one i cant have one lazer cut and folder for $50 and hole for the latch cut out aswell, pm me if needed.
  10. the 31 club did a decent cruise in january, start somewhere between newie and gosford, head down to goulburn, breakfast, up to oberon, lithgo for morning tea. up putty road to singleton for lunch, to kempsey for dinner (opyional) then head home. about a 8 hr drive and 1120kms.

  14. i use ebc green stuff all round. 4 pots on the front, 2 in the rear. they pull up when they need to with 200rwkw
  15. my rears were a bitch to push back in. but having a g clamp made it alot easier.but yeah clean the piston, maybe hit it with a SMALL squirt of WD40 to help lube it up as it goes back in.

  17. well this sounds like my problem. but ive got more of a floating issue even on a straight. you start to feel it about 60km and gets to a point where at 110, youll be driving along and all of a sudden youll be in lane one, then bang lane two. i have replaced: bilstein coil overs all round, new brake rotors, pads, hubs & bearings, wheels, tyres, rack bushes, lower control arms and bushes, rack ends, tie rod ends, adjustable castor rods, front sub frame. and thats just for the front of the car. as for the rear: still have the HICAS as it has not given me problems. nolothene rear subframe bushes, yes i have IRS and a nolothene diff hanger from Z31parts.com. i think my next card will be pedders.
  18. exactly, if i was ever to GO so to speak id go for a drive, right the car off and make sure id go with it. and yes ive thought about it many a time after splitting with the wife but we wont go there
  19. ive got an 85 bluebird ca20e for $500 no rego, but can get blueslip etc ,no rust, great little daily

  21. did think it was a GTR but its always parked on vales road aka the main road, but maybe im thinking about another 32. lol ALSO spotted miss33r in long jetty parked outside mitre10 i think it was and a few other 33s around the area.

  23. depending where you go for a cruise and do stupid shit. most of the time its ok. and isnt tonight thursday night anyway. i might even bring the 31 out

  25. my mate tony, he owns a m spec 34 GTR, just did similar to his air intake with carbon fibre, gave him like 30% more toque
