Justcar said they are going to come pickup the car and fix it and and return it.

finally got the car back. it seems/sounds ok but lots of small stuff that needs to be fixed. ignition for starters. back lighting on the dash and the AC controller and park lights dont work at the back stereos f**ked. passanger doors got few bits missing the A-LCD light does not turn off on the dash lots of scratches on one side. and the front bumper is all scratched. it was scratched on one side before but now the whole damn this is scraped. and the steering is really really heavy I called insurance 5 mins ago and they said to get a quote. Do you guys know anyone around Glen Waverley thats good with skylienes?

police said theres no damage to it, i havent seen the car yet.

Well i need to replace the ignition barrel. anyone know where i can get one for a 1993 type-m gts-t

Guys, I wana say thanks for everyone for helping and giving tips with this whole thing. also anyone know a place near camberfield or in that side of the town where i can get the ignition unit replace. Im guessing they might have stuffed it up trying to start it.

ok so the good news is, police found the car in brunswick. I have to wait till tomorrow to find out how bad the damage is

does it matter when i report it to the insurance though? i much rather not claim it if the cars in a drivable condition.

the police did asked me to go ask the neighbours but that was last night and i didnt wana go around knocking on peoples houses at 8pm. Figured i might do it on the weekend. phone records? what good are they? seems a bit extreme for a car thats not very expensive. either way i think ill wait to see what the police say, if they find it in good condition i dont see why i should go claim it.

did the insurance endup covering it?

Thats exactly what i was going to say. It was mainly wasnt for theft but mostly if someone hit my car and drove off. seeing as i wasnt going to be home for the next three days. Im waiting on the police to get back to me over the next few days if the cars not damaged and only need a good clean up im not going to make a claim. the excess is probably more than what it'll take me to patch up the car.

Only thing thats noticeable are the scratches to the front bumper. the left side of the bumer was almost white from dmg. it had stock wheels but not the small cap that covers the bolts on the wheel. Roof was a lil rusted on the left side, it wasnt peeling or anything. the care it self was pretty dirty. haven't washed for a while. After market exhaust (but almost all skylines have that) on the drivers side, that small plastic cover that goes along the top of the door to keep water splashing in was missing. on the front bumper both grills were missing. so theres are 2 small opening under the indicators on the front bumper.

Thats what im thinking, All that effort for car thats few grand... Interestingly enough talking to my house mate a week ago, he told me another car got stolen right out of the driveway on our street. and first thing i did was upgrade my insurance cover, plus i was leaving the car there for few days. but it was RIGHT in front of my house. i mean 5m in front of my drive way. under a street light. it just freaking pisses me off

Yeah its insured, Im still wondering how they did it with the alarm and immobaliser in it. No one was home but theres 3 houses in around a 15m where i parked it.

So i came home after 3 days and my cars gone. Parked on Ivenhoe Street in Glen Waverley. It was a 93 Red R33 GTS-T, with a series 2 spoiler. had an after market exhaust lots of scratches on the front bumper no badges or anything. It was locked with a alarm/immobaliser, and was parked right infront of my house. I honestly have no idea how they took it with out waking up the neighbors. The car it self is loud and the alarm ontop of that. Reported to the Glenny police, hopefully I'll find it soom. true.. i already spend 400+ a month just work-home, home-work driving.. ill run for 1 month n see how bad it gets. n go back to the stock bov, thts if i dun get defected before that. lol

i got the same issues. i just fixed a vee port BOV n since then, there theres a pop every now and then every keep saying its normal. just wondering if its safe for the car. not really concerned about the fuel econ

on the way to work today, white r33 s1 on springvale road turning into wellington(north) road towads city. DIOMO or DIOMIO . was behind u in the red r33

theres a white r34 parked on Keys Road in Highett, see it pretty much everyday way back home

i dun have a set roaster. im there tontie from midnight till 7.30am. n sunday 6-12 saw a white r33 turning into ftrngully from the service lane around 7.55am, i was in the middle strip trying to go across to the other side.

i work at coles Xpress on cnr Stud - FntryGully. wonder if any of u guys go there often, lol if u see my red R33 parked outside remind me to give u a 4cent discount! haha -H
