  1. Stock turbo with no boost solenoid and stock ecu
  2. Custom 3 inched my car a few weeks ago and when I go for a boost the car burbles around 7k+ rpm range and loses a bit of power don’t think it did that before.. Any ideas or similar experiences. Do I need an ecu and tune?

  4. How are you running haltech on an auto box tho? It says in the description, for manual transmission only? You running haltech elite ?
  5. So then that would be my best bet is to upgrade the ecu.. but would I have to get it tuned for it to run like yours? Also is haltech easy to put in the series 2?

  9. 😂😂 definitely the worse auto box I’ve ever used especially for a turbocharged car
  10. A good second maybe just over.. so when I’m boosting it from 1st to 2nd I shift before it red lines (with flat foot) it manages to bounce off red line before it changes gears lol. I’m comparing this against my girlfriends m35 and my Toyota ist daily. I’m talking about upshifting. Cars got no electronic issues at the moment no lights just the AWD light that’s on now and then. How do I make it shift better or faster because it sounds ridiculous sometimes. As for the sluggishness I think I just got used to the car. 🥲
  11. Is it normal for series 2 stagea triptonic to be slow at changing gears? And also big rpm drop when changing to 3rd from 2nd every time.

  13. I thought the 4WD turns on itself when it detects slip. Mine is also off on start up but turns on and off at certain times.

Saying on first day of boosting it would red line quick in neutral and the next it wasn’t as fast and underwhelming.. even my friend I took for a boost on the first day noticed a it wasn’t pulling as hard .. I know it’s stock but it definitely feels sluggish atm. I’ve had a similar problem with my evo 3 a few years ago but never had it looked at before I sold it it was also at 70Kms .. and the car is genuinely 60kms tho first owner imported to nz

Just recently got one of these cars and the 2nd day of driving it I noticed a bit of difference when pulling in first and 2nd it’s not as fast as the first day of driving it around it kind of feels sluggish in first gear from 4K revs even in neutral it doesn’t spike from when the turbo is supposedly supposed to kick in. Stock everything.. any ideas ? Cars 60K on clock atm
