heheheeh...NEO.... you must have a slow assed car if you dont have STICKERS.... and NO.... not the "ALARM INSTALLED" type stickers.... EASY HORSPOWER!.... oh and the sticker is guaranteed (personal guarantee not apexi guarantee) not to peel off at wide open throttle with that particular turbine kit installed.

the australian apexi distributor has them for $4400 BUT! I'm not expecting to get anywhere near that.... but lets start at 3XXX.

Sorry all for starting up a new thread. the old thread was getting a bit big and was difficult to keep track of. C'S QUICKSHIFTS SHORTENS THE GEARSTICK THROW BY UP TO 30% AS COMPARED TO 10% FOR THE NISMO QUICKSHIFT KIT. THESE KITS ARE BRAND NEW AND COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. simmo, yes they are. trust make two types the H pattern shifter, and a full sequential version. these retail for 728k yen and 1.32mill yen respectively. sequential type 1st 2.796 2nd 1.994 3rd 1.537 4th 1.191 5th 0.198 6th 0.767 final 4.111 H pattern (helical gear) 1st 2.782 2nd 1.938 3rd 1.506 4th 1.178 5th 0.920 6th 0.777 final 4.111 im sure os make a 6 speed gear set as well. HKS have 2 versions of the 6 speed. if anyone wants the numbers (they dont mean much to me) i'll put them up. nismofans if you are really interested, pm me and i will see what i can do.

i called ap engineering (apexi and ap engineering although under the same company, operate as separate entities) in japan about 2-3 weeks ago about an ap engineering pfc for the hcr32. they said if i were to order and pay for one back then, i should expect one by mid october. aparently even in japan they arent that easy to get. what is the difference betweent he apexi standard unit and the ap engineering unit? well, their response to that one was "because we make one and apexi dont!" there is no real difference at all except the hike in price, unless you have the upgrades to make it the pro version.

really!? well thats new to me. so that would mean that my 32 gearbox (93 onwards pull type clutch) would be getrag too? ive heard that the pre 93 gearboxes with the push type clutch is supposed to be almost unbreakable. the 33 gearbox (including mine) apparently have a weak third cog. once again, what are the benefits of this upgrade/downgrade?

thanks clint for verifying that for me! i was a little bit worried there for a moment. on another note, i remember when i changed the springs on my s14. when i removed the stock springs from the stock damper, i found that the springs had plastic tubing on the ends where they bedded against the supports of the damper mounts. when i put the tein springs in, i didnt bother replacing the plastic tubing, resulting in a lot of spring noise, when going over bumps slowly eg speed bumps, do coilovers make this this kind of sound too? are they noisy?

hmmm... but mongi, its the r34 box that wears the famous "GETRAG" letters. neither the 32 or 33 box do. can anyone tell me more about getrag gearboxes in general? i know the supras have them.

jason! which particular ones did you have? did you have the same ones in the pic? and do you know the spring rates? hehehe when you say "HAD" does that mean you took them out? if so why? what about the underbracing that hks kansai do? do you or anyone else know much about that? hks lower brace kit

guys i think you should note that it is most probably an "IMPUL N1" not the NISSAN limited edition N1 where only 228 rolled off the nissan floor. 32impul, i have no doubts that yours is the impul spec n1 but the rest of the general public (including me) wouldnt know anything about these special edition cars put together by another tuning house. i think you should say that your parts are "impul n1 turbos" etc to save any confusion between your car and the nissan factory N1 we all know about. ive seen some pics of your car and it is very different from the nissan n1. please tell us more about it! it looks very tidy!
