just heard on the radio the police blocked off a car park on the gold coast detaining over 300 cars for over 4 hours until each car was inspected for modifications. i also heard some of these cars were confiscated. they handed out heaps of defect notices too. anyone from SAU caught up in this? please give us the true story!

hmmm.... can some r32 gtr owners tell me, if i bought a japanese intercooler, larger in thickness only, would any modifications be required to the front bar? and is it benficial to change the piping in the gtr as most kits come with cooler only.

its really difficult to say, i really think you need to get under the car to see. i noticed that my gtr will pull quite aggressively if the road is uneven to the left or right. this might have something to do with the 17" wheels though. the cars underbody tells a lot of stories.

just grab and YANK and YANK and YANK! they're held in really well by these plastic clips. i actually managed to get one side off but the other side refused to budge! i ended up putting a piece of wood under the seat, put a long screwdriver thru the locking loop clip, rested the driver tip on the wood, and levered it out! didnt come out without blood sweat and tears, oh....severe cramping though.

hmmm... sounds like the bush in the contol arms are deteriorated causing excessive movement. apparently they can only bought as a whole arm and not just the bushes. they are about 250-270 each from nissan and about 200 bucks labour to do the two. found out the same thing about my car today!

Hi everyone, im looking for an r32 gtr seat in particular the backrest. most of them are sunfaded (like mine). does anyone have one in good condition? could be interested in the bottom part also. if anyone has one in brisbane that would be great! nissan japan have new skins for them, but that is still quite costly. please pm me!

I have a set of brand new NISMO RS580 turbos with gasket kit to suit an r32. i dont see why these wont suit other gtrs also. They are rated at 300ps each. Together, i think a realistic figure is about 560ps. However, i have seen in publications KAMCO WORKS r32 gtr achieving 600ps on 1.2kg/cm2. The reason for sale is, i was going to fit them to my gtr, but i went for a ride in a friends GTR, on standard turbos, not mentioning any names (RB26DETT on this forum hehehe) it was so fast (for me) i thought to myself, this is MORE than enough to get me killed! I'll be happy with the standard turbos for a while, UNTIL THE HORSEPOWER BUG BITES AGAIN! Expression of interests. SENSIBLE OFFERS PLEASE. Im in brisbane, anyone can come and inspect if needed.
